In honour of some friends of @stokedoats who are going after our co-founder’s winter #canmorequad record (4 peaks, 53 km, 4000 m vertical) set a few February’s ago, we are sharing the secret to his successful day - his high energy oat bar recipe (with the actual photo from his first ever batch of these bars). He went heavy on the coconut oil because it kept the bars soft and chewy - even during the coldest winter days where other energy bars would freeze into tooth cracking lumps. If you love getting sweaty outside during the winter, give this recipe a try and let us know what you think and how it can be improved.
