I ask, do they deserve this? Or do they deserve love just like the pig in my previous video? Their fate hangs in the balance of what we put on our plates and in our stomachs.
Our ego shouldn’t trump compassion. In fact, when we are compassionate to our core, our ego’s don’t even come into it, we do the right thing.

We have been led to believe that eating meat and animal products are the best and only way to stay healthy, strong and to get sufficient amounts of protein - this is why vegans are always asked the question "but where do you get your protein from?" and it’s simple, from plants :)
For example, Lentils provide us with a significant amount of our daily protein requirements. One cup of lentils provides about 18 grams of dietary protein. Protein isn’t the only nutritional benefit you’ll receive when eating lentils, they also contain iron, potassium, phosphorous, zinc, folate and niacin. Lentils are also rich in soluble fiber, which helps reduce/prevent high blood cholesterol levels.
As @hench_herbivore explains, when you eat protein foods (and almost all foods contain some amount), your body breaks down the protein into its amino acids. These amino acids are then sent through the body, and your body doesn't know if the amino acids have come from dead animals or plants 🌿 there is no difference
When has a doctor checked your protein levels? When have you fallen ill from protein deficiency? People are lacking fibre far more than they lack protein.
