Happy Birthday Ansel Adams. You were truly a master of your craft, your legacy will always live on through many. I've learned so much from reading about him. One of my favorite quotes by him is "A photograph is usually looked at, seldom looked into." When I took this shot many years ago, and I see it again my memories come flooding back to me as if I was standing here again. I couldn't think of a better photo to use as it touched me with all the raw beauty this place had to offer with not a soul around except a good friend I was with. Since that trip I've been so inspired and started really pursuing my passion with landscapes. Need more of these trips that really leave a mark on the soul.
Was going through some of shots I got over the weekend and I come across this one that seemed to have a shooting star but it's not as I thought, it's actually an airplane that happened to go through the scene and my exposure stopped or started when the plane reached one of the brightest stars in the sky. Always fun to get out and see the night sky again.
