I’m 26 days post-op & still chugging along! I’ve been walking and sitting daily- something I have not done consistently without intense pain since July 2016 😳 Since I spent so much time inactive, my muscles have atrophied. So now I’m really trying to build them up. I’m up to 26 minutes walking & 40 minutes sitting! Today my goal is 27 minutes walking & 41 minutes sitting... small goals will get you to where you want to be! Consistency is key 🔑
I figured this picture was more fitting than my typical cutesy background today😂🙈3 weeks of no meetings and not tracking will do this to ya...
I could (and normally would) wallow in self pity all day, but I have decided I will just suck it up, meal prep and move on intentionally.

My go to 2 pt breakfast! 2-ingredient dough made into rolls (1pt) and topped with @traderjoes EBTB seasoning, 1 egg (0pt), 1 piece @morningstarfarms veggie bacon (1pt), 1/3 slice of Kroger thin sliced provolone cheese (0pt). This makes a yummy little breakfast sandwich loaded with protein. 😋

Banana Bread Whipped Oats today for breakfast . I am exhausted after a busy week of exercise and I wanted something creamy & comforting . These whipped oats always do the trick . They taste a little like creamy rice pudding with the addition of egg whites .
I used a #quaker Banana Bread packet of oatmeal + 1 cup water . In a sauce pan bring both to a quick boil , reduce heat to medium & boil for 2 mins . Slowly whisk in 3 egg whites or 1/3 -1/2 cup egg whites from a carton . Whisk until blended . Remove from heat and pour into a bowl . Top with 1/2-1 sliced fresh banana . Sprinkle with crumbled toasted walnuts halves .

Weigh in Saturday. Last February weigh in. I hate being away from my normal WW family however going to new meetings allows me to learn new things and holds me accountable. 🔳🔳🔳
I’m so excited for goals in March since I crushed February’s.
Saturday #weighin results: down 1 pound, 11 total. Most weeks I’d be happy about this, and I should be because it’s a solid loss, but I was a perfect weight watcher this week and can’t help but feel disappointed. I’m starting to question my freestyle choices a bit and may be going back to the smartpoints program this week (any advice at all is welcome!!). I used to see 2-4 pound losses per week on that program. And yes, I know I haven’t started upping my exercise yet, and that’s on me, but I’ve really stuck to plan and just feel a bit let down. I will say, however, I know I am losing inches. Old jeans are fitting great and my shirts are loose. I do feel great, too. Here’s to another week, more challenges, and stepping the hell back on that treadmill!! (Someone please hold me accountable on that 😂) 💪🏻
Friday night NYC romp with my friend Micole. We went to see a show called “This One’s For The Girls” about music’s depiction of women, going from codependence of the 1930’s to the independence of today through popular songs of each era. Then we went for Venezuelan food (patacon- sandwiches with fried plantains for buns and arepas). I ate about 1/4 of each sandwich because they were reallyyy decadent. And GUESS WHAT?! My portion control got me a blue dot!

As you know, as part of the #wwambassador program I get to participate in some fun projects and missions... well my friends this one took the cake!
Yesterday, I had the honor of hosting a party for some very dear friends!
The theme was “Freestyle Fiesta” and it was so much fun!!
@Weightwatchers was so kind to send me (literally) a party in a box... all I had to do was decorate, cook, invite my friends and have FUN!
It was an awesome day filled with great conversations, games and yummy eats... here’s what I served:
Chicken and corn empanadas...1sp
Cilantro hummus stuffed peppers... 0sp
Tropical cheesecake tarts... 1sp
🌮TACOS with all the fixings... of course!
Some tasty beverages including citrus infused water (0sp), Coronas (3sp) and Cense wine (3sp) 🥂
We played fun games and even had a selfie station! 😆
