Okay, let’s talk about food portions.
Pre-surgery, I would frequent Japanese all-you-can-eat joints because they were amazing and gave me a great opportunity to try EVERYTHING on their menu. Last weekend, I decided to go against the grain and order from the a la carte menu so I can save money (since I hardly eat anymore anyway). Everybody else was paying $48 each but I, the one without the appetite, was going to save money and order something for a measley $15.
Aaaaannnd this is what I got. A massive platter of Korean ribs that was 5x bigger than my current stomach. My eyes bugged out. How could I have forgotten the crazy food portions at Canadian restaurants? Old me would have no problems downing this almost instantly. New me finished maybe 3 pcs.
So question for you: How do you deal with eating out in the real world? And when did portion sizes become this insane?! #rny#rnygastricbypasssurgery#rnygastricbypass#rnypostop#wls#wlsfood#wlscommunity#riblover#foodportions#wtfisthis
