Swipe➡️➡️➡️ It’s crazy how much people will assume things especially when it comes to health and fitness. Someone recently told me that I couldn’t understand their journey... while that has some truth to it because I don’t live in their shoes, but I can tell you what I can understand a little because I have had my own journey. Maybe it’s different but a lot of inner struggles I feel like I can relate.
From January 2015 until Today has been my biggest weight loss of 20+ pounds!!! That first picture I was depressed, eating anything I wanted, my self esteem was at an all time low, my confidence was no where to be found. It was a very scary part of my life. I had not ONE but TWO Autoimmune Diseases that I was still trying to understand and figure out life. This picture encompasses how I had felt through my entire life: insecure, very little self love and self image, wanting to fit in for all the wrong reasons. And finally all of that came to a head when I saw this picture. It was REAL. I had let my self go entirely. I didn’t know who I was anymore. Any decision I had made before I questioned.
Fast forward to the picture taken this morning. The physical changes can speak for themselves. But what I want you all to actually see is deep within. Remember this is a 3 (THREE) year difference in these pictures. And really the biggest shift in my inner self is really only a year old. I am showing you the lowest time in my life to where I am NOW on my journey. I’m still working on somethings but that’s life, your always going to be a work in progress.
This second shows little to no depression anymore, I’m on only 1 medication a day instead of 2-3 for my Autoimmune diseases, I am building my confidence, I have the most self esteem and self love then I have ever had before in my LIFE! I am fitter then ever before even through my high school track days (my times might be slower but my build is better) I am not as afraid to speak my mind and stand proud and tall for others to notice me.

Move. Of. The. Day!
This move LOOKS so easy, but last week I was falling all over trying to keep my balance and do that press back — already progress in just one week. I’m still a little wobbly but feeling good about where I’m at! Day 9 of 80 in the books!! Any day can be your day 1 to living a healthier, happier life. The first step is always the hardest, but take the step. “Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take the step.”

So those last 10 - 15 pounds. UGH! Why are they so hard to drop?!? Whyyy?! 😩
That's how i use to feel lol, tell me you relate???🙋♀️ I mean... You consider yourself strong. You eat what you THINK is pretty darn good...ish. .
You limit drinking to weekends. Spend an hour a day working out. and you'd think that would be good enough right? but noooooo.... 😡
Like do i have to give up my entire life to finally get rid of these 15 pounds? 😖
What If I told you the effort you're putting in is MORE than enough - it's probably just the wrong plan?😱 For so long I would try over and over and fail over and over to try to lose that last 15 pounds!! You'd think after so long of trying, I could do it.. nope. 🙅♀️ I was tired of losing and gaining the same 5 pounds over and over!! I felt like - what's wrong with me? I just suck at will power.😞 I just had the wrong plan- for me. 😮
so FINALLY I got a NEW plan with a coach. someone to help me get through it STEP by STEP. telling me EXACTLY what to do so I barely even had to think! 👏👏❤️ ..and the group I got plugged into was around 24/7! Not an hour a day or a couple hours a week..legit- 24/7!! They helped kick my butt in gear when I was slacking, motivated me with their progress but also didnt judge me when i had my moments of weakness (we all have them🤷🏼♀️). & then I reached my goal. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Was it always easy? Nope.
Was it easier than what i was doing?! Yep
Wayyyy easier!! Who has time to eat 6 times a day!?? Did i love every minute - NOPE.
Was it worth the results - 1000000000%

Set goals. Do the work. Crush them!
Last week I struggled doing 10 pushups, this week I pumped out 15.
1 week into this program and I'm seeing huge wins!! I am glad I pushed PLAY now rather than having to do it later, but man that was a tough workout on no sleep:( Time for me to go and try to get some shut eye.
❤️ this! How often is our “success” or “failure” tied to a comparison to others? All we can do is our best and we should celebrate when we do that and don’t give up or give in. When we push and know we’ve done all we can. 🙌🏻 This program is teaching me so much and this quote is one of those things. I can compare the weight I lift to others, but why? I can compare my inches lost to others, but why? This is 🌟MY🌟 journey and theirs is their own. This is what I need to focus on for me and what I want to role model for friends, family, and our community here!

💕 Happy #transformationtuesday#fitfam!! So I woke up to a phone flooded with notifications to find out I was featured by the "Queen of BBG" over night 🙌 and once again I'm over the top flattered and proud . Thank you to everyone for all of their support and nice comments😊. ( haters ... I pray for you 🙏🏻😜not really😉) Anyway , I hesitated to post this new transformation photo today but in the words of Def Lepperd.... " I got something to say... yeah, it's better to burn out , yeah then fade away "🎶🎸. Get it ? The song is from their album called "Rock Of Ages" 😁 (younger peeps may not have a clue what I'm talking about lol) .
Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that by living a healthier lifestyle and taking care of ourselves with exercise and a good diet , not only does it impact our bodies, but there are other default benefits that come with it . Like our emotional and mental state ... I think that knowing the work and commitment we put into our bodies creates more emotional and mental stability because of increased self confidence or self esteem ... and that creates harmony in daily situations that we face . Our skin and hair looks better too... healthier , cleaner, more alive and more youthful . We become more motivated to put our best foot forward when it comes to our appearance because we care more . I remember that when I wasn't feeling good about my body I had thoughts about trying to improve other areas and sometimes felt like saying "what's the point , I'm just getting older and it is what it is ". NOT TRUE ! Adopt a #fitnesslifestyle and EVERYTHING changes for the better . And it doesn't mean pain and struggle or deprivation ... just better choices , effort (minimal in the scheme of things), long term commitment and #balance . We can ALL do it , we can ALL Rock our Ages .💪🙌😘❌⭕️. Have a great day and thanks again ! 💕🎉

When talk first started about this program, I heard about these resistance loops, I was kinda bummed thinking that they wouldn't be what I needed to get results. But boy was I wrong, these loops and I have a love hate relationship. I love the way they are changing my body already(only 1 week in) and how strong they make me feel but they are also my worst enemy, they make my workout tough.

You don’t have to pay big bucks at the gym to get in shape. The online exercise library that I use is $100 for a year and has well over 600 programs to choose from to include a cooking show with a recipe library. I’m loving it!
The ladies in my group have been trying all sorts of new recipes lately and it’s so fun sharing our ideas!
Other no cost/low cost activities can be walking, dancing in your living room or even jump roping.
A jump rope costs less than $30, you can exercise with it anywhere and it will transform your body, says personal trainer Amanda Kloots. She uses it every day to work her upper and lower body, and for cardio.
The biggest tip is to try to get some movement in your days. Not only will it improve your health but also your mental health. Just 10 minutes of activity is said to improve your mood. What a payoff!

Booty booty booty booty rockin’ everywhere 🍑 Day 9 and I’m feeling FINE! Hahaha ☺️ Booty day has seriously become my favorite day of the week. The moves look easy, but they’re far from it. They burn so good and you can actually FEEL your muscles contracting and working which is so awesome!! I got up at 3:45 am today which felt so early since I didn’t get home until late last night, but that’s okay! I got my day started off great and now it’s time to work a 12 hour shift! Happy Tuesday friends 🙃💕

I hear it all the time- “I don’t have time” - I used to say it too! •
Then someone said to me try replacing “I don’t have time” with “it’s not a priority”. •
I told myself I was too busy for long enough, until i realized guess what.. everyone is too busy- but when something is important you make it a priority!
I decided in November i was done making excuses and I was ready to make the time no matter how busy I get - I am adding school into the mix of being a mom, working, wedding planning, and trying to balance it all with a big family in just a couple days. So for the last month I have been preparing myself to get into this schedule by making the time to take care of myself extra early so I can take care of everything else I have to because I AM a priority and I can’t take care of everything else if I don’t take care of myself first! •
& it feels so good to feel healthy, strong, have more energy, and know that I am always working on bettering myself & my family. •

Week 2 of 2018 is here!! We all have a love hate relationship with this week's moves 😂! Before beginning, get a ball that is the best size for you to be able to hold between your ankles. Lay on your back, place the ball in between your ankles (wherever you get the most grip!). Slowly begin to rollover, keeping your gaze up to protect your neck. Breathe into the stretch. Using your backside, lift the ball into jackknife. We have chosen to place our hands behind our backs for extra support. Find your balance, then slowly return back to rollover position. From here, begin to articulate through your spine to curl up into teaser. Hold! Squeeze the ball, scoop your belly, activate your hamstrings, and slowly return back to laying down position. Repeat 3-5x. Enjoy!! We cannot wait to see.

Had to do a little victory song, Day 4 AAA done, hard but I liked it! Today I am reminded that this program will challenge me and that people won’t understand my commitment or why I am following timed nutrition and a careful portion control system, but screw that I am worth being obsessed with myself and my health for the next 80 days (and years etc etc). And guess what, you are worth it too!!!! #motivation#thursday
