As light beings we have no limitations.
Our minds affected by social surroundings and human reactions create the illusion that we are limited on the power we have, but the truth is that our minds have no limitations and is up to us to wake our power and liberate ourselves from miss conceptions we absorbed throughout our lives.
🤔WHAT IS SUCCESS? 🤔
I sat down today to formulate ideas for a new speech I am preparing -cup of English tea in one hand, pen in the other, and my notepad on my lap- brainstorming about what I wanted to say to my target audiences. What could I say that would bring them the utmost value?
It struck me in that moment that there may only be three things that any of us really care about: Health, happiness and success. In some form or another, I think all the things that we truly value can smuggle themselves into one of these three life-sustaining categories. This particular speech I’m preparing is about success, but more specifically, teaching people how to achieve more of it in their own lives.
I think success is an odd term which is defined by everybody in a slightly different way. To me -if I’m pushed to describe it in its simplest form- success is the realization of a goal; to have set out to do or become something, and then to actually turn that goal into your reality. That, to me, is success.
Sometimes in our society we get success mixed up with fulfillment, but I think they are two very different things. I feel that fulfillment is that inner peace you get from knowing you did all you could do, so you can be accepting of whatever happens next; in all areas of your life. Fulfillment is elusive, and hard to catch, but it is something that should be chased obsessively by those wishing to truly love their life.
We also get success mixed up with happiness. We assume that if you achieve enough great things then we will be rewarded with a pot of shiny happiness at the end of a multi-coloured journey. Yet it is the worlds worst kept secret that even the richest, most successful, famous and admired among us, can suffer from deep depression; and harrowingly, sometimes, even worse. Thus, proving my point that success and happiness by no means go hand-in-hand.
Success is not fulfillment. Success is not happiness. Success is just success. It is setting a goal and achieving that goal, and that is it. So success should only hold meaning when it is used to define the thing that you wish to become *Continued in the comments below & on Facebook 😊
Every night she asks herself WHY?
Still trying to know the answers. Wasn't I worthy enough?
Only if he could give her the love he gave to other girls.
Only if he could make her feel special the way he made other girls feel.
She was always hungry for love. Just once, she wanted to know what it was like to get her fill of it. To be fed with so much love she couldn't take it anymore. Just once.
And yet today, she still remembers the horrifying night where she couldn't move. She couldn't speak. She couldn't open her eyes. She was numb. The whole world collapsed upside down.
Since then she asks herself every night -WHY? She asks god -WHY? WHY did he break my heart? WHY didn't he value me?
And only if these WHYs had answers. :) Ps; There are some wounds which can never be healed. And if even they heal, they leave a scar on you.
Forget all the reasons why it won’t happen and BELIEVE the one reason it will! Faith consist of believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. God said it, I believe it, end of story! #believe#believer#wordsofwisdom STAY #connected2Jesus
When you know where I've been .
Inspired by the song 'where I've been' by Rival sons
#arnoldschwarzenegger posted a photo of him sleeping on the street under his famous bronze statue, and sadly wrote "how times have changed". The reason he wrote the phrase was not only because he was old, but because when he was governor of California he inaugurated a hotel with his statue. Hotel staff told Arnold, "at any moment you can come and have a room reserved for you." when Arnold stepped down as governor and went to the hotel, the administration refused to give him a room arguing that he should pay for it, since they were in great demand.
He brought a sleeping bag and stood underneath the statue and explained what he wanted to convey: "When I was in an important position, they always complimented me, and when I lost this position, they forgot about me and did not keep their promise. Do not trust your position or the amount of money you have, nor your power, nor your intelligence, it will not last. "
Trying to teach everyone that when you're "Important" in the people's eyes , everyone is your "Friend" But once you don't benefit their interests , you won't matter. "Nothing lasts forever." #realtalk
