NO WAY OUT
Magic of flowers with ice in our glasses,
You're kissing the screen I'm on, I can taste
Your coconut lips through this fantastic
Static of interstellar feedback. It's time
For you to live your math without me, I’m
An artificial paradise, a path, a planted
Message reflection of the unhappy dentist
And his dome of nitrous sight. Happiness
Is a wet electric movie sponge memo
To have and to pollinate in this distorted
Mirror the selfish addict of unhealed desire,
Pain of words that punch the mystic roof.
And why does that sign say, “This Way”?
I don’t want to go that way. I want to go the other way.
CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT IN THE UNIVERSE - anon.

|| The only thing better than living my dream is that I get to do it with her right alongside me. Such a productive and exciting week in LA, making moves and hustling to ensure that this year is even better than last year. Considering it’s mid-January, it’s safe to say we are already sprinting out of the gate in a big way. I read a quote this week that said: “If you want to go quickly, go alone—but if you want to go far, go together.” Nothing makes me happier than chasing dreams with @sassyredlipstick and building the Tripp empire side by side. Plus, watching this doll face do her thing is a sight to see. 🔥 ||

He had a way of appearing from the shadows just when the light started to shine.
Red-eyed and warn down
Just about every single sentence I speak
At the end of my thread.
Running on fucking fumes.
My hands are shaking
From all the adrenaline
And the energy I've used.
Coming off that high.
That starburst of joy
Knowing that we made it through the night.
Knowing that the dawn has broken
And that this corner of the world
Will be flooded with light.
Riding the hope that maybe
I just may have added years
To his little life.
Thinking about the traffic I will
As I head home to lay me down
As the City is coming to life -
Reveling in the fact
Am at the end of The Long Night.
I did what I could
And I survived it.
Tagged by the talented @whyledheart to share what birthed my writing. Well, I officially started writing in 2nd grade, co-authoring a book with my friend called “The Girls Who Giggle A Lot”. Back then it was fun but I didn’t do it consistently. At 14 after so many ups and downs in my life, it became my refuge. The only real way say the things I needed to say without relying on someone to care enough to listen. Tagging a few to learn what birthed your desire to write. @mysoulonpaper_@wordswithannie@pico147@phoenix_scribbles
It means the world to me that my collection is being read alongside other writers such as @iamkyrobinson and @rupikaur_ !! You can find Lovely Seeds on Amazon by following the link in my bio. 🌿 [ 📷: @ittybittyrittie ]
