Our thoughts are like keys. With the wrong thoughts, we're bound to limit ourselves from gaining access behind certain doors. *
With the right ones, it becomes possible to access doors that become available to us. *
So, which set of thoughts are governing you? Are your thoughts limiting your forward progression, or are they helping you move ahead consistently? *
If you find that your thoughts are keeping you stagnant, realize that it's time to make changes because we shouldn't repeat the same fruitless beliefs while also expecting fruitful results. *
Before you go, remember the power of your thoughts, share a comment below that may inspire someone else to move forward, and don't forget to tag someone who may need this reminder.
Still Falling For You
My heart is still falling for you
Can't forget you
It's like my life depends on you
You're the air that I breathe
You're all I feel
You're all for me
Nobody can make me feel like you do
I'm still falling for you
Still falling for you
You're my one and only
I can't resist your kiss
I can't resist your love
We have something magical
That we can't lose
A love story between you and me
That will remain alive in the minds of men
Your beauty still amazes me
Like never before
You can't do me no wrong
I'm still falling, still falling for you
No doubt that you're my first love
My heart is still beating for you
My heart is still falling for you

"We’ve all had that massive love. That all-consuming love. The kind of love they write novels and symphonies about. The kind of love that teaches more than you thought you could ever learn, and gives back infinitely more than it takes.
If you’re lucky, you get to meet the love of your life. You get to be with them, to learn from them, to give the whole of yourself over to them and allow their influence to change you in unfathomable measures. It’s an experience like nothing else we have on this earth.
There are some of us who meet the loves of our lives, but we do not get to keep them. We do not get to marry them or to pass our years alongside them.
We do not always get to hold onto the loves of our lives because in the real world, love doesn’t conquer all. It doesn’t resolve irreparable differences, it doesn’t triumph over illness and disease, it doesn’t bridge religious rifts or save us from ourselves when we’re corrupting.
We don’t always get to hold onto the loves of our lives because sometimes love is not all that there is. Sometimes family values conflict with one another. Other times, there are difference in lifestyles and goals. Sometimes you have bigger dreams than one another.
Sometimes the biggest, most loving move you can possibly make is to let each other go. Other times you don’t get a choice. Not ending up with them doesn’t disqualify their significance.
Some people can love you more in a year than others could love you in fifty. Some people can teach you more within a single day than others could teach you over the entire course of a lifetime.
Maybe we just ought to be grateful that we got to meet these people at all. That we got to love them. That we got to learn from them. That we got to have our lives expand and flourish as a result of having known them.
Meeting and letting go of the love of your life doesn’t have to be your life's single greatest tragedy. If you let it, it can be your greatest blessing. After all, some people never get to meet them at all."

The soul is like a vast library where rows upon rows of all little things that make each of us unique line the shelves--our childhood memories, our dreams, our ambitions, the people we have loved.
All that we are patiently waiting in silence gathering dust for somebody to come along and walk our long abandoned aisles again and perhaps, with a little luck, to find something they like.
I’ve managed to plow through four books in 2018 already and this one was my absolute favourite.
It’s the true story of a Canadian journalist who is kidnapped in Somalia and held for ransom for over fifteen months as her situation becomes more and more grim. The story is horrifying and heart wrenching but I could not put this book down.
For days after reading it I found myself so conscious of how very lucky I am to live in Canada and to be free and comfortable and safe. I found myself giving gratitude for the small things we often take for granted; choosing my own breakfast, having a hot shower, walking outside, a comfortable bed.
If you can handle discomfort read this book. But be warned - it will stick in your head like a burr for days after you’ve finished with it.
Happy reading, readers!
Those little notifications used to bring me so many smiles.

yesterday I went through old photographs with my grandma. she gave me a bunch to recycle but even though they’re of strangers or doubles or photos with bad lighting it feels wrong to just toss them. does anyone else feel the same?
