We try to get out and explore the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem whenever we can. Today, we tracked three wolves in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Grand Teton National Park, a tiny safe zone for wolves. Once they cross outside the boundaries of the Park, they can be Trophy hunted til a quota of 44 have been killed this hunt season. 34 of 44 are gone.
You'll love this one guys! Perfect for all fitness levels.
We are getting creative and mixing it up this Thursday for the Pack Run. Situated at one of Canberras most iconic locations and with good weather on the radar.
Expect moderate intensity running combined with a mix of boxing and battle rope training. Think speed, focus, strength, agility and good fun.
Thursday 5:45am @ The Carillon
Played around with some hook grip after my session for the first time, worked up to this 270kg, maybe in the long term i'll transition, might just do a little each week to get familiar with it...

🛑 A good harness saved Tidus’s life! Read more below and watch the @huskysquad harness review video in profile ☝️☝️
. 💙 During the most recent trip, Tidus was exploring the edge of a nice size creek to drink water. Covered by bushes I was waiting with my camera in hand so I can take a beautiful majestic picture of him when he walks towards me.
Suddenly I hear a soft splash in the water and my instinct told me to run and check on him. I get there. Tidus was holding on with one front paw on the edge, his entire body being swept by the current, and his face was almost completely submerged in the gushing water...
I dropped everything and I was ready for anything. My quick instinct to get him out of the creek was to grab the handle on top of the harness. I couldn’t see the harness at all because he was almost fully underwater, but I knew it was within reach. I lunged forward from the edge of the creek and dove my arm down deep into the water to pull him out. The handle on his harness was in my hands within seconds and I pulled Tidus to safety. I had a good feeling it was going to work and it actually did! The water edge was much deeper than it looked...
We’ve always liked having a handle on a harness because of general convenience and when dogs are out on the trails, but now after what happened with Tidus, we realize how important it really is. .
Since that day - Tidus has been extra cautious when approaching creeks and rivers to drink water. Dogs learn incredibly fast, just like Kimahri learned not to jump off cliffs without a parachute 😆 ...but that’s a story for another day. .
🤫 We have an EPIC video from this camping trip coming this Tuesday morning! 😍
We had an AMAZING time at Cannon Beach with @goldilocksandthewolf and @light_of_dawn_wolfdogs! My housemate, Mike, who has been friends with Ivar from the first day he came home more than a year and a half ago, apparently makes for a good headrest when Ivar grows weary from running on the beach with his canine friends, and having crowds of passersby gawk at him. He is still bombproof in public, but is very much a “look without touching” kind of woofer when it comes to meeting strangers, preferring to seek out attention from familiar friends on his own terms instead. It’s not common for higher-content wolfdogs to be this relaxed in public, but early socialization can help wolfdogs to become desensitized to Big Scary Things, like construction equipment, car alarms, automatic doors, and large crowds of people. You can learn more about wolfdog socialization at www.packwestwolfdogs.com/socialization. And don’t forget to nab a pair of Ivar the Wolfdog socks before the Holidays! These are limited edition and the sale ends on Thanksgiving Day! You can find the link to purchase them in our bio. #wolfdog#wolfhybrid#wolf#uppermidcontentwolfdog#midcontentwolfdog#ivartherealwolfdog#malamute#husky#germanshepherd#dogvideos#funnyanimalvideos#funnyanimals
