Well hunting season is behind us and hunt test season is just around the corner. We have a couple of openings for our gun dog and our hunt test programs. Here at ZRSD we have an indoor training facility so no matter what the weather is doing outside we can always train. Heyyy there! 👋🏼 Just popping in for a couple quick things. 😊 First, a sincere thank you to those of you who shared your tips and tricks for beating the January/winter blues with me on my post from Monday. If you can relate to struggling with going dayzzzz without seeing the sun (Day 7 here 🙋🏼♀️😩), go back and read through the comments for some good advice. 👌🏼 Second, see that right hamstring up there? 👆🏼 We aren’t exactly getting along this week. 🙄 It’s nothing major, but I’m being extra cautious about babying and rehabbing it until I push it through another speed workout. It’s always sooo hard mentally to have to skip those miles staring back at you from the training schedule. It’s deep in my DNA to want to check off those boxes each day! ✅🙅🏼♀️😂 BUT, I know the long-term ROI of trusting my (and my coach’s! ❤️) instincts and respecting my body when it needs extra TLC. So instead of hammering out intense 10 milers before work, I’ll gratefully walk or jog for 30 minutes, stretch, roll out, ice, and take it day by day until it feels right to get back at it! 🏃🏼♀️💕 Oh, and third...I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, but I saw a little ☀️ icon in the Sacramento forecast this weekend. ☃️👙😍 #realrunning#trusttheprocess#listentoyourbody#wintertraining
