Before and after 🤭 I’ve been getting frustrated with the swelling in my lower abdomin and the slow healing of my belly button but when I stop and look back on where I came from.... WOW! I love my new perfectly imperfect body 👏🏼 19 days post op

Meal prep for the week is done! Man those rice wraps were freaking hard to make. Definitely a learning curve involved there! What did you all prep? #weightingtowin
All prepped and ready for the week!!! I cheated a lil on my meats, grabbed the already dry rub marinated chicken and fish. Still all protein but someone did the work already for me 🤗. This weeks meals and points are stored for quick adding. It’s hard to type in every ingredient to my meal, after every meal, so I decided to put them in the day I make them, that way they are ready to go. *banana oat pancakes with eggs and turkey bacon, 1sp each pancake *hash brown scramble *buffalo chicken wrap, sugar free fruit cocktail *Ranch, chicken turkey bacon wrap, sugar free fruit cocktail *Shrimp Cocktail
*tilapia, mashed potatoes and veggies
*chicken, mashed potatoes and veggie *Corckpot spice apples for my dessert *turkey burger, thin slice Swiss cheese, no bun
Excited to have the sour cream rice cakes for this weeks snack. They will be a good in class snack for me, everyone’s is always eating chips in my class. The chip sliced carrots have been helping but this will help with a mix up. I always need a goos mix up, if I keep too much of the same foods I don’t stay on plan. I get bored and start going to drive thru or hitting up Dennys. Creativity in my meals is always needed, keeps me on track.
My weekly ordered out meal today was Nicaragua food; gallo pinto, queso, tostones. Tomorrow I will have my weekly weigh-in and hit a yoga class at 8pm at the gym. Time to get some rest, Good night
💡Protein Shake Cheat Sheet
👉🏼 Ah I remember it well. Getting my first tub of protein and my mum thinking it was some meat head elixir that would turn her lovely boy into a mountain beast. She was right. PSYCH. But seriously - you have to admit that at one time or another you’ve thought protein shakes were steroids or something 😅
👉🏼 BUT REALLY it’s just powdered protein derived from milk (Whey). They even used to throw it away until they realised they could make a fortune off fitness people...
💪🏼 When looking to lose fat & build muscle you’ll likely be having to increase your protein intake which can be challenging. For arguments sake you can think of whey protein as like drinking a chicken breast. It’s convenient, transportable and actually a cheap protein source these days.
💪🏼 It won’t ‘bulk you up’. Whilst protein is fundamental in building muscle you’re still going to have to be in a caloric surplus first and foremost. And work your butt off for a long time.
🙋🏼♀️ LADIES! Protein is just as important for you and won’t make you a monster. Unless monsters are lean, strong and sexy. Ignore the marketing; bikini blend, lean whey, Lady Whey - whatever! It’s all just whey protein - it’ll just cost you more.
💪🏼 Shaking protein is great for grip strength and toning your forearms. Science.
🙏🏼❤️ Any questions drop them below folks! Stay curious, educated and do what works for you!
I am trying not to post a lot of selfies in 2018 – I would rather focus on the things I have done and places I have visited.
But this morning I was super excited! After several weeks of getting my mind set right and learning to make myself priority (which is bloody hard), I am 10kgs lighter than I was 6 weeks ago.
Change doesn’t happen overnight, GOD sometimes it takes weeks, months and even years to finally get your mind set right – tbh I am not fully there yet but I am working on it. I am working on myself and the first thing was to get back into working out – to find that motivation because we all know there is every excuse in the book to miss leg day 😊
So here is a selfie of me – 10KGs lighter and a few inches smaller than I was – I won’t promise that this will be the last one (come on guys) but the next one will be 10 more KGs lighter 😌😌

W4D1 🇬🇧 - 3 'easy' on the plan 🏃
Ha! After spending most of the weekend in bed eating a diet of pure chocolate, they were anything but easy 😩
Managed a little progression with splits being 9:00, 8:42 and finishing with a 8:35mm but struggled mahoosively.
Fingers crossed it gets easier as the week goes on 🙌
Do you meal prep for the week? If so how many days and which meals do you do? If you don't meal prep what do you do for your meals? Day by day or on the fly? Tell me below. I'm personally a big fan of meal prepping. It is one of the reasons I was able to lose 180lbs! Meal prepping is such a powerful tool for you to utilize. I actually just got done cooking my breakfast and lunch for Monday through Friday.
It saves me time throughout the week by taking care of it on Sunday. My evenings get cleared up for other things I need /want to do. I count my macros so making my meals before and getting it into my phone makes tracking simple. I know exactly we're I'm at each day.
Meal prepping also will save you so much money! With your meals pre made you will not need to buy any meals while your out. You pay a hefty convenience fee when your buying somthing for fast food or mini marts. Not to mention restaurants meals are a good 2 to 3 times the cost of buying the food from the store.
With the reduced stress if worrying about what you need to eat or having to try and guess what your eating. You will lose or gain weight so much easier and efficiently. If you know what and how much you need to meet your goals. Pre making meals that put you in a position to meet your goals so much easier. You can make progress so much faster and efficiently. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
