Throwback a couple of months ago... it all happened while listening to Pink Floyd in our van just next to our house in Mostar. I liked the sound of the pouring rain dropping on the roof of the car - that metallic sound - combined with Pink Floyd's epic, psychadelic tunes. We then spontaneously decided to drive through the pouring night until reaching the top of the hill - one of many hills surrounding the beautiful city of Mostar. We drove and we drove through the storm lile vagabonnds through the night. Alone we were. Lost we were. And when we finally reached the top, well, let's just say we saw the whole city of Mostar glooming in its orange city lights. Too tired we were to stay awake, so the five of us closed our dreamy eyes in that little VW-bus of ours, trying to find a comfortable position to sleep a couple of minutes. We slept. We dreamt. Only to wake up to a breath taking sunrise and to the sound of what seemed to be hooves clacking against the rather stoney ground of the hill. A beautiful grey horse had been led by his curiosity and appeared right next to us. He shook his head in a wildly manner as if he were to tell us: "Be Welcome, strangers!" and observed us for a couple of moments until his curiosity had been fully satisfied... with a big, red apple in his mouth. And then he left...
We are parked in the middle of a forest to escape from the heavy wind on the coast and to get some work done for the last couple of days. Of course it was quite shady there. To have a chance filling up our board battery Carsten thought he might as well give the solar panel another clean. I’m sure that was a pretty good idea. •
If you have any questions about our solar panel let us know 👋🏻✨ #vanlove#solarpower#vanlife
