Oh, it's so easy to get caught up in the chaos and panic and sheer anxiety of being human. It's easy to get mad in traffic and grumpy at the absent-minded waitress and worried about unfavourable exchange rates. Also, the price of cheese, my word. Writes @tea_for_taryn
“Centrally located in the heart of the City Centre on Loop Street, with views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Table Mountain, Cape Town harbour and CBD, Triangle Luxury Suites offer a choice of Standard, Superior and Deluxe 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, in the Inner City.”
My last day in South Africa but actually the first day to really relax a little and catch up on my emails. So much impressions and beautiful experiences (with a few exceptions). The weeks flew by! The indulgent breakfast at @babylonstoren seems ages ago. Must say I’m actually looking forward to go home, to sleep in my own bed again. Not too excited about the cold though back in Europe. I’m gonna miss these temperatures and sunshine!
“Searching for Dragons” a short montage of my favourite shots from our Drakensberg trip in January. I planned on capturing way more, but unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way. We were restricted at times with what gear we could carry in our backpacks with food, water and camping gear ‘generally’ taking priority over camera gear. There was just never enough space in my backpack for what I wanted to take up the mountain. There were also some challenging weather conditions here and there that probably also played a part in less photo & video opportunities. At times I found myself relatively uninspired, with exhaustion and the challenges mentioned above taking its toll on my motivation to photograph & film video. Regardless looking back it was an amazing experience, with the positives far outweighing the challenges we experienced. Many lessons were learnt as with any adventure & obviously I cannot wait for the next one. My eyes will be on those snow reports this year. :) Shot on P4P & GH5 all hand held, wish I had a gimbal with me for this trip! Big ups to @mattbouch_@jacques_crafford for the rad trip! cc @southafrica#gh5
Driving through the city centre of Cape Town, we could spot Bo Kaap long before we arrived. Yep, it’s so colourful! It’s also the city’s Malay Quarter and all the locals were out and about when we arrived, just after Friday prayers.

Attempted to do a time-lapse of the piece I did last Friday but my cameras battery died while I was painting. Even tho I never got the final piece in I thought I’d do a little googling as to how to put this time-lapse together. After many a Youtube tutorial this is what I came up with. @dunnkidda sent me this track a while ago and finally had a use for it, thank you homie. 👊🏽

Ok, so I haven’t been to all of the wine regions in the world (challenge accepted) but Stellenbosch has got to be up there as one of the most beautiful 🍷🌸🤤
I roll my eyes a bit when I see inspirational quotes attached to Instagram photos. But when I took this photo all I could think of was George Constanza saying, “The sea was angry that day, my friends. Like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli.”

Waking up early in the wild has alot of wonderful advantages. One of them is being able to photograph this 'cheesy African tree' sunrise shot 😉🇿🇦
