sorry for not posting for forever, i was conflicted if i should merge this account with my art account since they’re the same aesthetic, but i kinda like being able to post different stuff so i think i’ll keep them separated for now. so here’s some goodwill finds i got a few days ago 💖✨
•kittens and flowers coasters
•strawberry bowl and glass
•strawberry wood cutout/wall art
Vintage vinyl Weber Costello Letter Board/Directory sign. Well THAT was fun. Three days of antiques shopping and road trip adventures are in the books and I can happily confirm that there is indeed no place like home (mainly because home is where the antiques live). Now it's time for a bit of real life and back to normal (easy on the snacks, Jesse) up in here. Every day can't be for antiques (wait what who said that?) nor for snacks (ok who ARE you?). Besides, when the open road becomes more frustrating than exciting then it's time to head for home (what's with the ridiculous driving why why so slow fast cutting-off not looking danger be careful get me home gah). And so it's good (great) to be home (with the antiques who are super excited to meet their new friends) and back to normal. There really is no place like home (until this weekend what are we doing this weekend maybe a road trip yes good idea - less coffee tomorrow morning is another good idea - yikes I'm clearly not rested can I have another weekend?). Happy day to you 👋🏻...
Happy Monday Friends! I took most of the weekend off and spent time with friends and family which makes my heart so happy! 💚 I just love old tool caddies...I own a few! They can be used in any room to hold so many different bits and pieces! This one houses some of my vintage music sheets and old books.

Hello loves, if you couldn’t already tell I have a bit of an obsession with candles. Both decorative or ones I actually use. I just feel like they add such a cozy look to any space. But what you probably didn’t know is that I also have an obsession with candle holders. I love them all from vintage brass beauties to distressed turned candles sticks, salvage finds and this chippy metal set from @bits_of_vintage is definitely on my list. And layering them with our kitchen centerpiece is giving me all the spring feels. The best part is that their entire site is just as amazing! Click the link in my bio to read all about it and tap the photo for details🙌🏻🙌🏻
Well would you look at that. It's Friday again and that means it's almost Saturday and Saturdays are for antiques so YES. Also yes? All the aesthetic movement brown transferware, one of my earliest collections. When I first set out to find all the transferware, I dreamed of green. It wasn't long before I discovered that I'd set the bar at level-impossible with that goal and so I quickly switched to brown. I was young (I promise I was once young) and couldn't afford the more popular and spendy blue. Besides, I thought, the brown is kind of underrated and who doesn't love an underdog? With it's often abstract and always artful transfers, the aesthetic movement pieces always stood out to me with their bossy patterns. There are still super deals to be had, platters and plates to be picked up for almost free (my favourite price) like this largest platter that I found last month for less than the price of a pizza. And while I love me a pizza as much as the next guy (maybe even more than the next guy), I'll always choose the platter instead. Yes. (But how I love pizza now I want pizza someone send pizza?) 🍕
For years, my buddy Melissa @megillicutti has promised that #TQITB - the quest is the best. She's asking to see what we found on our quests and has started with the letter 'A' so here's my aesthetic movement brown transferware. Maybe you'll jump in with #tqitb and show us all your 'A' finds?! .
