And so many people wander why vegan and not just vegetarian🌱? It is easy for most of us to understand that eating meat means an animal has to be killed , but realising the harms that are imposed on animals in diary industry and how this industry works is something which has been from us all our lives.
The common belief is that cows and buffaloes produce milk all their lives for humans to drink and it causes no harm/ suffering. But like all mammals, cows produce milk for their babies to grow. But because humans desire for milk, their babies are taken away from them within 24 hours which is one of the most devastating things anyone could ever do. The males are confined for 8 weeks and then killed for beef. The females ensure the same life as their mothers.
Cows and buffaloes are repeatedly impregnated with frozen semen by long sharp objects in order to continue giving milk , they continously get oxytocin injections which ruthlessly effects the hormonal balance of cow. When they are still very young, cows are burned with hot irons, their horns are cut or burned off, and males have their testicles ripped out (castrated). Cows raised for food are regularly dosed with drugs such as antibiotics to make them grow faster and keep them alive long enough to make it to the slaughterhouse.
If left alone, cows can live upto 20-26 years old but it will be too expensive for diary industry to keep tbem alive. So after they are no more profitable, they are sent to same slaughterhouse as their mothers and babies and distinct relatives were sent.

#traumsehnsuchtvegan

Would you take a look at this beauty!? This avocado soup was created by @next_wednesday also known as an amazing supporter of @MyMeatlessMeals since day one. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for his and his wonderful wife's @hummusandthehousered appreciation for what I do.

When I started and had less than 100 followers- these are the people who have always believed in my craft. Thank you both so much for inspiring me to challenge myself and to do well.
If you're wondering how I got into using black salt- you have these two amazing individuals to thank because they were the ones who introduced black salt to me.
I don't know what other food accounts are after or aim for, whether they are numbers or certain recognitions. As for me, it's really quite simple. I want to interact with like minded people and to help everyone go vegan and being able to cook vegan in the comfort of their own home. I still hope to have my own cookbook one day. But if that's not my path, I'm still very happy to have encountered so many wonderful souls here.
So, I suppose that's what I'm after. I aspire to inspire and to be inspired.
Seeing posts like this: seeing how much people enjoy my recipes and are kind enough to share their creations with me- that means a lot already. To me, this is what makes the whole experience rewarding and worthwhile.
If you're still reading this, please know that I am so thankful for each and every single one of you. Thank you for giving me a purpose and for giving me reasons to wake up each morning and exercise my creativity. Sending you so much love from the land of fresh fruits and sunlight 🇹🇭 🙏

Made some pad Thai-inspired stir-fried noodles. I used some rice noodles because I love the chewy and sticky texture it has especially if cooked right. I’m sorry I didn’t measure the ingredients for the sauce (I will next time!) but for those wondering, the sauce was a mix of some chili sauce, coconut sugar, soy sauce, a little vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic.
For the other ingredients, I just sautéed veggies I had on hand—purple cabbage, leeks, bell peppers, carrots, bean sprouts, and some tofu in a little oil before adding in a bit of the sauce and the cooked noodles. I added more sauce and sesame oil then stir-fried everything for a few more minutes. Finished it off with some fresh lime and lots of sesame seeds. 🌿🍜 •
There’s just something about the combination of creamy oats + frozen blueberries + melty peanut butter that always has me coming back for more 😍🙌🏻 perfect meal to fuel your day ahead and leave you with nothing but energy and a great mood 😉
