I'm not usually a huge salad person unless it's full of all the healthy fats, protein & veggies/fibre so I will actually be filled up & satisfied after it 👌
I whipped up a healthy version of 'Caesar' dressing (it's also vegan!) this morning to top over my salad filled with feta, avocado, spring mix & arugula micro greens + a chicken breast for protein! I also buy my chicken with the bone in & skin on-so much better flavour & don't be scared of the fats from the skin-they will help you be satisfied & give you energy!👌
This dressing is made with hemp seeds for added protein, good fats from avocado oil & cashews + lots of flavour! Recipe below 👇
1/2 @chosenfoods avocado oil
1/4 cup roasted cashews
2 tbs @manitobaharvest hemp seeds
1 clove garlic
1 tbs fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbs nutritional yeast
A few dashes pepper & pink salt
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender for a few minutes until creamy & smooth! Serve over top of any salad or veggies & enjoy ✨

I workout in my basement ya’ll. It’s not glamorous. I don’t have state of the art equipment. I do have a pretty killer, fancy treadmill that I was spoiled with though 😉. And tons of free weights and used equipment. The closest gym is a good 45 minute trip away. So I make this work!
The moral of the story...you can make anything work. You can get healthy and strong with NO equipment at all! I get creative and I improvise. No excuses! What it really comes down to is priorities and how bad you want it!! 💪🏻

I used to be the queen of Pinterest workouts. You know? The kind you spend hours looking up, but then never actually do? 🤦🏻♀️
I would juice or go on super strict diets and end up gorging myself at night. I was so unhappy. My BiPolar swings were out of control. And I had no hope. 💔 I remember thinking, “Well, I’ll just get a 9-5 because it’s stable. And it’ll only be 30 years of my life. I can deal with that...” WRONG! 🚫 I joined a health and fitness community, which at the time I thought would fix the hatred I had going on for my body. But it was so much more than that. 🌈 I now love my body! I love the community I have found! I love feeling in control of my life in everything from my BiPolar to my career choice. 💓
I did this all because I joined a fit challenge. So now, I run them myself! If you’re ready to take control and I finally see results in every aspect of your life, then you need to join me! 👯♀️ My new group starts the beginning of February! I went silent for 1 day.
Staying completely silent and social network free for a whole day was a wonderful experience.
On a beautiful Sunday, I woke up and had my favorite healthy smoothie. After feeling full and happy, I cleaned up the house and did laundry.
Then I went to meditate for 1 hour. I normally started my day with meditation but since I wanted to do 1 hour, I waited until I felt ready. It's been a while I haven't meditated for 1 hour so it was a bit intense but after that I felt like I just had a spa therapy session cause I was all released and relaxed. If you don't know yet how mediation can help you to reduce stress, clean out negative energy, improve concentration and develop calmness and patience in you, please try it out!
After the meditation, I felt like I had the motivation and strength to read something (not a fan of reading lol) so I read and finished the ebook The Vegan Fit Body Design Guide of my bootybuilder idol Bianca Taylor Fitness and planned out my meal plans and work out.
Then I went to the gym near my house, talked to the reception by body languages and written words and registerd monthly and finished my quads/glute/hamstring work out.
I went home and had another smoothie for dinner. After dinner, I went to shower, put on my organic vegan lavender lotion, moisturize my hair with coconut oil and put on my organic vegan clay mask. I haven't taken a deep care of my skin like this for months. Happy productive day and went to sleep around 11pm.
To sum up, I had a very energetic day for not talking and using social network. I was astonished with how much workload I could finish that I've never imagined I could in a normal Sunday. Also I was surprised how little I ate and had less hunger and craving during the day while still having full energy and a clear mind. I actually felt like I was more expressive, sincere and authentic to people I met by using body languages rather than when I was talking.
Last but not least, you won't believe how not using social network can save you a huge amount of energy, not to mention keeps you more focused on your goals and stay positive.
I love the experience and will continue to do it weekly.

Hello y’all happy Tuesday🤗 Spent last night with a masssive migraine which hasn’t happened to me in months so that was a fun little surprise🤷🏼♀️ thank you all for your recs to help a migraine naturally - so many people told me to use peppermint oil which I never knew! Today I went for a grocery haul with @scorpionmind to our local Asian store and I made this yummy bowl out of some of the things I bought:
Massaman curry paste
Purple sweet potatoes
I put the purple sweet potatoes in the oven, put hot water over my noodles and stewed the rest in a wok. Super simple, delicious and nutritious. I also bought some other stuff in the Asian store which I’m excited to try 😊 When I go there I buy mostly at least one product I’ve never tried before. This time it was frozen shiitake mushrooms. I’ll let you know how I like them but they are super healthy so I give it a try 💪🏼
