I rarely use machines for my interval training because I prefer to use skipping ropes, battle ropes, ladder, and my body weight etc. When I do step food on a treadmill I make sure to make it worth it!! I love getting creative with interval workouts on the treadmill to challenge myself and pretty much prevent boredom 👍🏻.
GIVE THIS A TRY!
🔥Treadmill Incline 15
🔥lateral shuffle x 20 seconds per side
🔥jog backwards x 10 seconds + bent knee walk x 10 seconds for 3 of each
🔥turn around and crank the treadmill up to as fast as you can sprint for 30 seconds
🔥hop off treadmill for 1 minute and repeat. 3-5 rounds!

I've been pretty consistent with my training lately, and I'm getting back in to bring consistent with my diet. It actually really stresses me out when I don't have all my meals prepared in advance and I don't know what I'm bringing with me for lunch, etc. I'm going to do some meal planning tonight for the upcoming week, and do a big ol' grocery haul after @mariasharp_ifbbpro#PoseWithThePros seminar tomorrow! This goes for work life and workout life! There are so many deprivation "diets" out in the world these days that are causing people to have an unhealthy relationship with food. Always counting calories, depriving yourself of foods you enjoy, and working out hard 7 days a week with no break - will only result in an eventual burn out.
👌🏻👌🏻I believe that eating healthy and exercising is a very important part of life, but it's not the ONLY part of it!
💪🏼💪🏼To each their own, and this is just my opinion based on my own experience with clients and my own body. Many people who jump on the latest calorie restricted fad diet or cleanse are not able to stick to it long term. They never actually learn how to make healthy choices apart from the meal plan they are following, and therefore are not able to stick to that plan when eating at a restaurant or on vacations.
🔥🔥Following the 80-20 rule will allow you enough freedom to still enjoy your favorite foods without disrupting your progress. I believe in educating yourself about macros and when and why you should eat these macros so you can make healthy choices no matter where life takes you.
💪🏼💪🏼The same goes for workouts, going hard 7 days per week could eventually lead to burn out if you are not giving your body and mind enough time to recover.
Just remember we all have goals, but life passes by so quick - don't forget to stop and smell the roses! Balance is the key to life! Having a child has definitely helped me find this and he reminds me each and everyday to stop and take it all in ❤️❤️❤️
Great training session today with the amazing @mary_holistichealth 🏃♂️🏃♀️ 3.5 hours and 25km in the trails up and down mountains!! It was bad ass and horrible conditions but it’s the price you pay for racing during winter in Vancouver. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!!

If you like that’s amazing, if you don’t that’s totally cool too. Not everyone is going to like you, it’s inevitable and a fact of life and what others think of you is absolutely none of your business. That’s only their own personal opinion, they don’t truly know you like you know you and they should have absolutely zero impact on how you live your life. No matter what, people are going to have an opinion, whether it be positive or negative based on their own personal perspective of something or someone. I know it’s hard to overcome and just shake it off, but just remember negative opinions and or negative comments usually stem from a unresolved personal issue or short coming and putting others down just makes them feel better about themselves. So try not to let all the negative stop you from living a positive life, just do you, do what you love and love what you do ❤️❤️
