The floating islands (villages) in Lake Titicaca was what brought us to Puno. Once we got to the first island, they introduced us to one of the Uros indigenous family (they didn’t speak English nor Spanish). Then they dressed us up in their traditional clothes. The next itinerary was to go to the bigger island in the lake. However, they didn’t let us to get back on the boat unless we purchased some souvenirs from them. That was the only downside from our trip to Uros. I can understand that they make a living from tourists. However, it made us feel very uncomfortable to be pushed to purchase souvenirs otherwise we technically wouldn’t be able to go back to the mainland...
Early birthday celebration for my 30th.
It's a challenge to 6088m snow mountain!
First day arrive at 4700 m base camp.
Starting training ice climbing!
I always wanna do it but never think about it I'll do it around 5000m!
Second day we need to carry 10-15kg equipment hike from 4700 m to 5150m.
The last day we need to hike at 12am from 5150m to the top!
On the way is all the stepped snow hill, sometimes even need to ice climbing.
That's really hard for me.
Unfortunately I only made until 5900m.
But I still take this as a unforgettable experience!

Spent the day on a small beach that can only be reached from a heavy hike or taxi boat. We hiked it there and took the boat back, seeing a capybara also topped the day off #travelbrazil
📍Laguna Wilcacocha, Peru🇵🇪. A lot of climbing had to be made to reach this small and beautiful lake in the region of Huaraz. Wiracocha lake is located at 3700 above sea level! Luckily, we are starting to get used to the high altitudes in Los Andes and we had to stop just a few times to catch our breath. The views all along the hike were really enjoyable and we got to meet some locals and their cute pets 🐶🐷🐔🐂🐑. The only drawback was the cloudy weather that didn’t let us see the snowed mountain peaks of Cordillera Blanca. We’ll keep looking out to finally meet the snow.
