Soooooo here I was thinking I had packed everything possible for this trip...🤦🏼♀️ but of course I forgot the most important thing! Baby Panadol!!! Sooo when poor Hendrix spiked a fever in the middle of the night last night and there was no pharmacies open we were in a bit of trouble and a night of no sleep which sucks when we were due to leave for the airport at 4.30am 😣 Anyway we dragged our poor bubba and our sleep deprived butts to the airport but it was decided that our poor little guy was too poorly and we couldn’t board our flight. We suspected it was an ear infection and it could have been a very painful flight for him if we boarded. Anyway the staff of Qantas and everybody at the Hotel were absolutely amazing and we can not thank them enough! and after a trip to the doctors and some paracare he is back on track and we are cleared to fly tomorrow morning yay 🙌🤗 The lesson in this story ALWAYS take the bloody baby panadol 🤦🏼♀️😩 See you tomorrow Brisbane !!! ✌🏻

When traveling to non-English speaking countries, it's polite to learn one or two phrases in their language. Hello/How are you? and Thank You are good ones. In Bangkok, it's fun. Women end their sentences in ka and guys end in krub. Hello is 'sawadee ka' or 'sawadee krub'. Thank you is 'kub kun ka' or 'kub kun krub'. And you say it with your hands in prayer position and a slight bow. Since you hear it being said to you often; when you enter your hotel, an establishment, or when you buy something; it's easy to remember. One time I greeted a saleslady when I entered a stall, and she proceeded to speak to me in Thai. When I said I didn't speak Thai, she said my 'sawadee ka' was so good she thought I was Thai. Boom!
