One of my favourite things to do is to try on old outfits. Knee high socks were always my dream. I remember I used to buy so many and try them on and always get super disappointed when they didn't go past my ankles or calves. Something as small as SOCKS can literally be your happiest and biggest non-scale victory.

A little (long) insight into my fitness posts... I post my transformation and fitness journey on my instagram because it’s such a huge thing for me. I’ve always struggled with self confidence and the way I look.
I’m one of those girls that looks at a piece of cake and puts on 3lbs 🍰👀🤦🏼♀️ and spent years dressing in baggy shirts and leggings to cover everything that I hated about myself.
Whilst some people will look and think “didn’t she lose a load of weight before?” “Why does she keep posting pictures like this” or wonder why I put some weight back on after I lost a lot a couple of years ago. Others with understand that life gets in the way, priorities change and some girls’ weight just fluctuates more than others.
This year my goal was to be confident and learn to love my body. That doesn’t mean reaching a goal weight or BF% and then loving it, it means loving it no matter what size or shape I am. Of course I do feel better about myself when I’m going to the gym, eating healthy and seeing positive changes but the love comes from looking after my body. It comes from having a sweaty morning workout and getting those endorphins pumping, and eating a healthy meal that doesn’t make me bloated or lethargic.
I’m not there yet, I still have a lot of days where I’m tough on myself or where I struggle to eat something not so healthy without feeling “guilty” which shouldn’t be the case but it helps to share different milestones and keep track of my progress on my social media.
I love Instagram but it’s important to see it for what it is and look beyond what some people post. It’s easy to see people on Instagram and compare yourself to them, whether that be looking at their lifestyle, body or anything else. Listening to realistic podcasts such as @thegirlgains#fit&fearless podcast brings some of the things I struggle with into perspective (highly recommend this podcast to anyone!!). I guess what I’m trying to say is I post what I post because it’s for me. It helps me with my goals and achievements and hopefully it’s relatable to some other people. I’m not trying to be a fitness model or a blogger I just want to be happy, healthy and confident ✌🏼🙃💁🏼♀️
Saving every single spare cent i have on attending a 26 day yoga training retreat in July in Bali🍃🌙 Im going to be doing 300 hours of teaching and training to earn my certificate.
Until than im focusing on finishing my masters in personal training. ☄

My 1.5 year transformation. On the Left im about 84- 86kgs, miserable af!, zero motivation but i kept showing up and I'll keep showing up .. I'm Currently sitting at 93kg's with lots of room to move and have never felt better... Fitter, stronger and healthier than ever! Fukyea #💪

I haven’t been to the gym all week, and it’s Thursday 😤🤦🏽♀️ So I’m sticking this post up here, to hold myself accountable. I WILL be in the gym Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - grueling it out and giving my best. No excuses, no “I’ll start Mondays”.
