The middle of something terrible is often the worst part.. the great things keep me up. The ppl i know who have had such struggles and pain, but did their time, never gave up, and are on the other side. Some of these ppl i have seen suffer.... really fight. Question. Wonder. Cry. But they never stopped. Even when it looked like the walls had closed in and no light cld mk it through.
When you are in it, really in it and someone says, how are you? Omg you want to claw their eyes out or cry or say 'how the fukc do you think i am"!!? And that right there is an honest remark.
But you never give up.
The easy part is the talk.
When you have to walk your faith...that is the true test. I firmly believe when you surrender and accept, only then can you receive.
Only then can you blaze a path.
Telling someone what you were told.

It got a little crazy in the fitness world for a while. You couldn't just go to the gym bc you were working on your fitness anymore...no! Everywhere you looked someone's training for some competition or fitness show. And once they got their npc card, bam! Now everyone and their mother are trainers and selling diets!! Uhhh! Pump the brakes and lets take it back to basics!
You can go to the gym to work on your fitness and keep that arssss tight and right! You do not need to be training for a show or a mud run or to impress any new records! You can simply want to eat pizza and a donut!! And not that anything is wrong with runs and the npc! Ive dabbled myself =) The point is, sometimes getting thru the day is tuff enough without putting someone elses unrealistic expectations out there!!! Do it for what and who ever the hell you want! But most of all do it to be healthy! Loves of my life!!! I try to enforce how important being active is to my girls. Lets be honest, im not the biggest person and my kids are tiny too! 2nd truth, kids do not move like they used to! Its like they don't even know how to just be! To sit in a car with you, and just stare out the window and daydream!
What we show and teach them they will emulate. So aside from teaching classes and training clients, when my girls get home from school we walk our complex! We even found a hill where we incorporate lunges and squats!! Haha, yes we do! Childhood obesity is on the rise and i bet 90% of our children aren't getting the recommended 60 Minutes of physical activity! Plus I don't even think half of us are aware of the recommended calories is for a kid the age 6 to 12? Do you know?
Its a recipe for disaster.
When calories in are not being expended! Calories in vs. Calories out= steady weight gain! The more fat cells we make as a child the more difficult it is to reduce as we grow in adulthood...

The debate over the best method to perform the lat pull-down has lingered for years in the minds of self-proclaimed gym gurus and professionals alike. Truth be told, a combination of Wide or narrow pull downs will develop your Lats significantly. Only a body builder with a 4-6 percent body fat physique should be really concerned with different grips as they need to flex each fiber in competition . Lat pull-downs are a wonderful exercise when working up yourself to a full pull-up and getting a nice V shape. Make sure to select your grip appropriately based on shoulder health and then unleash the potential packed in your back. The MOST important thing is that you pull down and feel the squeeze in your Lats without using too much of your arms. TIP: keep your head straight without looking up, in order to direct the tension into your Lats. .
