I get asked a lot what I do for work, some weeks it’s deficiency work for recent builds, some days it’s a bit of framing, heck sometimes it’s even painting. But this week it was a bunch of tiling to get a few of our houses ready for closing. A few more hours tomorrow to finish off the last fireplace.
So close to finished So excised to have my tub back soon. After a week of swearing and complaining I have got all the tiles on the wall feeling very proud of myself, still a lot to do but so close :) #accomplished#proud#diy#tiling#bathroomremodel
Let's start off with an image to show off the details within the feature wall, tiled - brickwork.
What you will see throughout this project is the use of complimentary earthly tones to compliment each other with use of warm lighting to create ambience throughout the restaurant.
Modena are proud to be working alongside @despokeinteriors75 transforming this space for Earth restaurant
Why is it in the first few days of a project you can see progress then the next few days you look at it & think what have you actually done?
That's how I'm feeling about my new bathroom at the moment, Thursday our shower room was completely ripped out and the floor went back to floor boards
Yesterday some pipe work went in & the shower tray went into place
Today there was two of them here, one started to tile the shower room & channelled the electrics for our new steam free mirror & the other removed the toilet & done the pipework for the sink in the toilet room
I'm sure all of the above takes ages but it just doesn't look like much has been done
For example they've barely taken off any tiles in the toilet yet that needs completely retiling and including a new floor, the only tiles that have been removed in there are the one Ines around the back of the toilet & going towards where the new sink will be .
There still seems so much to do & only 2-3 days left to do it in .
On to the not quite complete bathroom. Lots of finishing's to do in here yet but better than our ensuite which is only bright blue water proofing so far. Is quite a large space with big double vanity so the kids can get ready in the mornings without too much conflict...at least that's the idea (hope) 😘Again A+ on the tiles Pat
BATHROOM: Glossy green tiles and geometric lines lend this @architectseat bathroom a gently modern sensibility. From their Moving House project, a favourite AIDA nominee of ours from last year: | Photo by @derek_swalwell
