A trip to Bologna wouldn't be complete without trying Trattoria Anna Maria, praised everywhere from food blogs to Vogue. We warmed up with hearty Tagliatele al Ragu, Tortellini in Brodo and sides of Patate al forno and Friggione (slow-cooked onions and tomatoes). Great food, lovely staff and a real institution in Bologna.

Un dimanche pluvieux. 🌱
Juste avant de croiser Michelle Williams et sa fille dans les rues de Brooklyn Heights. Elles étaient trop charmantes.
There's been a feeling of deja vu as I spent most of the evening pinning. The last time I was this extreme was when I was a #bridetobe and now it's for my studio shoot in a few weeks with the uber talented @kirstymackenziephotography
Can't wait to bring it all together and show you guys!
Infinite memories are running through my mind. Moments otherwise non existent to time, but are still so real and here with us. My memories are filled with crazy, loving humans with a desire to grow and feel connected and because of that I have to same desires. To meet new people, to go on paired adventures, to share laughs, to smile, and sometimes even shed tears with old compadres. To be here. Honestly to just be human.

“Bleak House” by Dickens, anyone? 📖 I always find it funny when I see a reference to a character or a book that rubbed me the wrong way 😂 If you have any good book suggestions *without* creepy father-figure characters, always feel free to suggest them in the comments 💕 -
P.S. this is my absolute favorite color combination as of late, so I am letting this go for the sake of how beautiful this storefront really is 😉
I’ve had an unusually slow weekend. I’ve never been very good at that, and to be honest I don’t know how parents of young children can ever really have slow weekends—there are always little people clamouring to be fed and entertained and read to and generally looked after.
But now that my kids are a bit older, I’m starting to see light (and rest!) at the end of the tunnel. I got a lie-in this morning (my husband took the kids to their 8am swimming class and then made a fairy garden with them—yes, he is a hero). We went to the park, made nice food, ate cakes, watched movies under a blanket to escape the cold, and generally took it easy for a change. This feeling that we’re coming out of the trenches of parenthood is really quite novel.
Oh and this is Clapham btw—we went there this afternoon for a bit of a change and there are some very nice houses around the Common.👌🏻

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I turned backwards and saw this scene. Something ethereal is definitely going on here 🌻✨
