I’ve been very fortunate enough to call Muskoka home since June, and from that time to now, I’ve been able to experience exactly what I wanted when I moved out. I got to paddle board on lakes, hike to crafty old cabins, get a dog, meet really inspiring people, and started a new relationship. However, just like everything else, with time, things change. I’ve been given the opportunity to move even more north and take on a new job. My new years resolution was to do something that scares me, but for the good, so I guess for once, I’m achieving a resolution! It’s sad to be saying goodbye to such a beautiful part of Ontario, but Luna and I are very excited to start this new chapter along side @alexboudens. It’s just a side plus that we’ll be living 20 minutes from Algonquin Park now 😉

📝 We love eagles! They soar effortlessly and constantly inspire us to reach higher than we can imagine! A week watching them is enough motivation to take on 2018!
So excited! Dragon boating planning started tonight. Wonderful to have the teams together to plan for an awesome year! See you in Salem, Portland, Nanaimo, and The Wallowas this year with your paddle!

I have a confession: After leaving @alpinenorthwest I was super pumped and inspired. And then I sat down to edit. And I hit. A. wall. Seeing all of the gorgeous photos all of the other ladies were putting out was inspiring and also frustrating, because nothing was coming out how I wanted, and it's hard to not compare yourself with others, especially those you admire. So, here's a photo from yesterday, because sometimes you just have to make a decision to be kinder to yourself, nitpick less, and love what you do.
What an adventure, to wander through time with a family of storytellers. These three don’t believe in failure and their passion keeps me motivated. They are why I write and why I always have a camera in my hand. Some of you may already know that this page is maintained by both my wife and myself. We really appreciate your support and we have a lot of fun stuff to release in the next several weeks, including a YouTube channel. At least we will, if I can ever bring myself to get to work and stop taking pictures of her 😎 #folkcreative#mylife#peoplescreative#livefolk#theimaged#liveauthentic

The Daisetsuzan range. Every once in a while, there's a shift in what you believe to be possible. This range represents one of those moments for me //❄️🌬️

That fresh salty ocean air. It got cut out on insta, but the moon was lined up perfectly above his head in this photo. And less than half an hour later we witnessed a spectacular sunset. You can't go wrong with evenings at the beach.
A perfectly misty Oregon coast day on 120mm Fugi Provia slide film. Taken with a Yashica Copal MXV medium format twin reflex camera.

Hey @instagood friends! Melissa @rouxroamer here with a takeover. I get these visions in my head for certain places and I have to create that work of art even if it is snowing and I'm in a dress. For me, it's not just for the gram but for the sake of creating art.
@rouxroamer here for my second post. I've been dreaming of seeing that stone bridge in Germany for so long. The good news is we have a similar wooden one not far from my home. Don't worry! This looks more dangerous than it actually is. My dress is doing the scary part.

It’s always a good time shooting some of the best whitewater athletes in the world. Hard to say no when @rushsturges let’s me know he’ll be on the river! This particular photo is of @rafaortizkayak running the Little White at really high flow! I’m starting to really get an appreciation of photographing action sports. How do you guys like it? More kayaking photos, less kayaking photos?
We climbed above the clouds to the Pearly Gates as ice rained down around us. No matter how many times I go up there, the formations covered in rime ice and this steep stretch never fail to make my heart flutter. Stoked to have notched another summit on Oregon's tallest mountain with such good people! @eddiebauer#liveyouradventure#ebcontributor

Missing this family road trip through the Isle of Skye. Every year I get older and the more I travel the more I realize nothing compares to moments with the ones we love. Missing my big sister @princessraya

Through and through we had this entire playground to ourselves and here I am constantly rekindling old emotions ~ while tinkering with the future. Ha, yes, I know I’ve been MIA for a moment, but I promise I’ll dose your emotions soon with what I’ve got stored in my mind. Here’s a little something, I hope you’re well. // @tchvn@djidrew
