#She looked up just in time to see a gigantic penis rising up out of the earth in front of her, screaming to a halt and breathless with fear, she knew this was indeed the end of the world as she knew it” .
How prepared are you? I know I know...nothing bad is ever going to happen.
Are you sure if that? I know when I mention long term storage people think of the crazy peppers they have seen on a TV show. Or they joke about a "Zombie Apocalypse"
But what about something more real?
What about if you lost your job? It happened to us this past summer, my hub and was out of work for over 4 months, when unemployment is a small fraction of his normal paycheck there was no chance of buying anything but Ramen noodles if we wanted to keep the lights on and our house under us. But I had my storage so there was no problem feeding my family GOOD nutritious food instead of the cheap chemical laden food.
So how about a peace if mind? Wouldn't you rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it?
What if...? There are a million of them. Why not have that peace if mind with a little back up?

I invented this cocktail on election night a little more than a year ago. It seems only fitting to make it again on the eve of Trump’s 1-year anniversary in office and what seems to be an imminent government shutdown. It’s called #theendoftheworldasweknowit
This morning my life was forever changed. Everything I believed about myself, my dog, our future together, my plans and dreams were destroyed in less than a minute. Beau, my sweet, happy, funny pit attacked Peabody, my westie, my first dog as an adult, my heart, my little buddy. Beau snatched him up by the neck, jaws clamped down, Peabody screaming. Thank God I had a friend over doing some work in my bathroom. He grabbed Beau from behind fighting to make him drop Peabody as I attempted to grab Peabody. After what seemed like forever Beau dropped him. We seriously thought we were going to have to kill Beau to save Peabody. I still can't believe it. It's all I see when I blink. Beau is with family right now. Our life of snuggling under blankets, playing tug, my excessive bragging about Beau and obsessively taking pictures and videos are over. Doodle Bug has lost her best friend and has no one to romp and wrestle with. Peabody is home recovering from surgery. His wounds did not include any vital structures, just barely, but were severe. My sweet Peabody who has seen so many fosters come and go, so many adopted dogs die over our 14 years together, in no way deserved this and I can promise him it will NEVER happen again. I've never been so heartbroken between Peabody's suffering and dropping Beau off watching him crouch on the floor terrified because I was leaving him, as if he knew it was forever. I'll use my hash tags for the last time #beauthepinkpitbull#doodlebug#thetroublewithpibbles#luvabull#pitbull#spoiledpitbull#rescuedpitbull#kissabull#pitbullsofinstagram#priviledgedpitbull#pitbullmom#pitbulllove#myrideordie#datfacedoe#dosearsdoe#whywouldyoucrop#croppingiscruel#theendoftheworldasweknowit
