Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together.

#3awesomethings about snow!
1) snow is defined as precipitation in the form of ice crystals. However, snow can fall even when temperatures are above freezing under very dry conditions.
2) fear of snow is a thing. It's called chionophobia. Chion is the Greek word for snow.
3) The reason why snow can be used as a shelter is because there is a high percentage of air in snow that becomes trapped as it falls or is compacted.

"You have to park on a dirt lot right off of highway 1, and then hike down the cliff across railroad tracks and weeds until you get to the beach. Once you're there there is a lot to do. There are some tidepools and watery cliffs to explore on the left (be careful its slippery), and a hill to climb on the right where at the top you are level with the seabirds flying by.For a small beach there was plenty of parking but then again it is isolated and the weather could have played a factor because it was a bit chilly.
Getting to the beach:
Park along the sand, follow the railroad tracks down. The short climb down to the beach can be done in regular shoes, but be prepared to maybe get your hands a little dirty." Shark Fin Cove by Chelsea via #awayn app.

Bloom, baby, bloom. Grow where you are planted. Go where you are called to be. Be who you were made to be.
I've been working on pushing myself (it'd be easier if I was lighter) because I can't be complacent. Ive been trying to shoot different things, like rivers. I've also been trying to film more and just posted a video (link in bio) but I still have so many areas I need to push myself in. Oh well, work hard play hard.
Here’s a throwback to Neahkahnie Mountain a few weeks ago! I try to hike every weekend, however these past few days I’ve been studying and writing papers nonstop! That’s what happens when you have 5 tests and 3 papers due in one week 😂 thankfully I only have 75 more days until graduation!! In the meantime, I’m gonna try to find some close hikes in Forest Park that I can squeeze in to my busy schedule. And hopefully a nice long hike next weekend 😏 #hustleneverstops
Moist ocean air made for a dewy night, waking up a tad bit on the wet and tired side made those first beams of sunlight all the more worth it. I can’t really describe the feeling I get after stepping into that first warm, golden light in the morning - something close to bliss I think.
