Can’t say no to an antipasti platter... like ever 😋
It's gonna be hot this weekend, peeps! Ideal BBQ weather 🏝☀️. We have a shop full of meaty goodies for you, but if you need some ideas ... Pictured here on the right we have our special smoked lamb cutlets. On the top left corner are our pork tenderloin fillets, wrapped in prosciutto with fresh sage. For Cindy’s baby shower we created our first “Grazerttable”, a pretty set up combining the grazing table with elements of the dessert table. All surrounded by a whimsical flower arbour to create and enchanted atmosphere. 🌿

When your eyes are bigger than your mouth you lid this bad boy up with Mac n cheese and onion rings. Everything was cooked al dente. Pro Tip - get the cheeseburger spring roll too 👌🏼

Ever since The Hounds started throwing out hints they were making the Canuck a month ago I’ve been wanting to get my chops around it. As usual with the Hounds specials I’m the last one out there, no thanks to city rail this time round.
I haven’t seen much about the burger named after TBC’s wandering burger guru @joeyburgered , Avers-ion To Vegetables, so thought I’d give that a go. Then I decided to add some of the Canuck anyway, so the burger morphed into a mixture of both specials.
Big thanks to Master Hound for putting this together. It was a disaster waiting to happen, but stayed together the whole journey.
It might not be the prettiest burger you’ll see, but boy it makes up for it inside. There was so much going on I could barely concentrate on what was doing what.
Perfectly cooked, couldn’t ask more.
I had a slight concern bbq sauce and bacon jam would make this burger to sweet. It is sweet, but the bbq sauce, thankfully, was not overused. Between the bacon jam and the bbq sauce, it was a lot more interesting kind of sweetness than you usually encounter.
There was plenty of savoury elements. I love their meat sauce. It doesn’t bring any heat which has been mentioned before. The gravy helped bring the balance closer together, and with gravy and meat sauce together the deep flavours had plenty of interest.
The beef patty itself got a bit overrun as you’d expect with so many powerfully flavoured elements. It was cooked well, pink throughout.
The chips are good, nice and thick.
Love the bacon jam. Certainly one of the best I’ve had.
Crazy burger and another unforgettable Hounds experience. Next time I’m going to order something straight off menu, just like I keep saying to the @burger_patch fam 😄
