Yesterday was kind of a shitshow 😂😂 First we dropped my sister off at the airport (took 3hr). Then I went to the hospital to have a skin check- I had this little mole that was changing a bit, and I've seen the horrors of melanoma firsthand through my work in palliative care, so I was freaked out 😲 The skin check was only 1000 baht ($30) and the doctor was so sweet! She recommended we get rid of the mole... So several hours later I finally got it scooped out and sent to the lab. I told her I hate needles, so she put gauze over my eyes and rambled the whole time about how I should enjoy being young and all sorts of funny things 😂😂 It certainly helped. The whole ordeal took 6hr, and NO SWIMMING FOR A WEEK! Crap! So we cancelled our Koh Tao train last minute and tried to get a private room at our hostel (we've been in dorm bunks for a week)... No luck. Then my mom @pegcarter713 graciously offered to put us up somewhere nice for two nights to chill in Bangkok. YEAA!!! THANK YOU MOM!!! 💕😍💕😍 So that's our latest update LOL. Currently chilling in Bangkok and making plans to go up north! 😁🌴☀️ Life is good. Just going with the flow.
I’ve taken a little hiatus from posting on social media lately. December was a month of transition and dealing with hard emotions. I have found myself craving solitude and avoiding energies that don’t feed my soul. I think it’s good to honor that and be comfortable in the silence of your own thoughts. I’m thankful for those who have kept me close even though I’ve been distant. #lifeinpai
