This has been my standard position for today. Ok, well, I actually got a lot done this morning before the get set in but since then this has been it. I took the morning off parkrun volunteer duties too. It’s the year that I took more time for myself and cut back a bit on the volunteer roles so I can participate more. It was forecast for 44 Celsius here today. The AC is struggling. I feel like all I’ve done today is eat. It’s been a deadset boring arse day for me. I’ve not left the house. I have cabin fever. Let me out!! I’m going to do a calorie calculation soon to see what the damage has been. I am a fart machine today!! Silent and deadly 💨 😂Heading out for a walk with a group of girlfriends tomorrow morning. Sarah and I will both be in the same place at the same time. Miracle. I’ll be bringing up the rear of the group and making sure everyone gets through safe. That’s how kind I am. Or that’s how unfit I am. These girls are seriously fit. I have the results of my MRI of my knee and it shows a tear in my posterior meniscus. I’m going to see about getting it fixed but it might take a year. Any suggestions on support for my knee until then will be great. I normally resort to having to take pain relief and anti inflammatory meds. Anyway... back to tennis game...
*** 4th consecutive Total Fire Ban day for the Mallee *** The Mallee region has been declared a day of Total Fire Ban for the 4th consecutive day, with temps once again expected to hit around the 40°C mark.
There is a chance of rain but unlikely to be much, possibly around the 1-5mm. A little more would be welcome after the run of scorching weather this week!
Hopefully the temperature will come down a little following Sunday, at this stage Monday is looking like being only slightly better on 36°C.
