I’ve given up on trying to photograph them sitting together.
This is how they roll.
Doing what they love.
And so for now, it’s now my fave.

Started out in layers because it was chilly, and Robin immediately splashed through a snowmelt stream so I took off his parka. Then I threw a stick a little too far and he splashed right into a pool to get it and soaked his sweater. So he ended up naked after this.
I really, really enjoy taking photos with a long lens because I end up with moments like this where I don't remember exactly what was happening because I wasn't next to him or posing him. It's a study in frustration with this lens (it has to be prepped to focus ahead of time) but I keep coming back to it. Also this is proof it takes dead sharp photos with good blacks when the autofocus system, user error and glare aren't getting in the way..
Mom is a surprise maker 🙆❤

Lulu waiting semi patiently for her forever humans to find her. Seems like her second potential family has also backed out ... but that’s not getting little Lulu down! Back to the drawing board - we have one more application to look into 🤓 ... 3rd time is a charm right?
