Dog approved! How good is this round outdoor table I scored at @salvosau for $35! It fits perfectly in our outdoor space & it only needs a new coat of paint! 😁

Following yesterday's post on Tea storage is another related topic, which is WHAT TO DO WITH OLD, STALE TEA. Yes, as tea lovers, we accumulate many teas over the years. And let's be honest here. There are some teas we've forgotten about (buried in the tea cabinet of boxes, jars, tea pouches, etc.) that have gone stale, sitting over the years. So, what do you do with them?
Being mindful of waste & encouraging reuse, there are many amazing uses for brewed tea bags & loose leaf teas, that there's no excuse not to recycle them. Some examples include: adding tea to flavor your cooking, neutralizing household odors, etc. We'll be posting this in detail tonight on our blog, so visit us at www.yvettetea.com.
What are some ways you reuse old tea?

Such beautiful weather today calls for a trip to the beach. Don't forget your wet bags for your soggy bathers and mini wet bag for your sunscreen #fluffybums#designerbums
Two weeks into #sustainableliving and I’m starting to get the hang of cooking plant based meals! No, I’m not vegetarian, but I am choosing to make only non-meat meals at home. I’ve also been taking my reusable bags EVERYWHERE (and actually using them), increasing recycling at home and at work, and buying ecofriendly brands and products with less packaging and that have fair trade practices. Pretty pleased with my progress thus far in my year of a small environmental footprint! 🌱 #🌎 #sustyliving#plantbased#gogreen#reusereducerecycle
Don't worry if you forget something. Care instructions at the tote bag. ▶Cotton shopping bags are great because they can survive years of supermarket hauls! ▶And help you skip the nasty plastic bags!

Day 15 - Fabric...I trained as a silversmith but fabric is the obsession I’ve had since early childhood. I tend to buy from charity shops & car boots, deconstructing other items to reuse or buying salvage if lucky. I used to run a high street charity shop & processed a minimum of 2 tonnes ‘rag’ a week, scary how much fast fashion we chuck away as a nation. I make jewellery, soft furnishings & done some upholstering too. Etsy shop for a few makes of mine to be set up soon...once I figure which fabrics I can bare to part with! @prelovedofficial#myprelovedhome#fabric#stash#reusereducerecycle
Morning! It is apparently #bluemonday today but we use it as an excuse to surround ourselves with our favourite blue things! Here is a recycled denim floor cushion that we have hand printed. Wishing you a great day! Xx
New soups from Tesco, marked #vegan 💚👏
They are kind of soup kits where you add the paste mix first with water then add in the veg pot mix.
The Thai one was lovely and I might buy that again but this pictured, the Mexican one was pretty bland and I had to add a lot of stuff to pimp it up a bit! I added aduki beans, lots of garlic and chilli and extra tomato too... plus other herbs and spices... I don't think I'd buy this one again because to go to that much effort you'd be as well making your own from scratch anyway!
I love soup, I eat it most days and make a pot most weeks but I rarely share it on here because it's hard to make a bowl of it look at all photo worthy, plus they are so easy to make, it's hard to go wrong with them (hence my disappointment with this Mexican flavour one!... I mean come on, a Mexican soup with no form of bean in it?! The disappointment!)
However hubby got me these as he knows how much I love soup, and being ill, this was a half way point to making my own with less effort involved... not had the Moroccan one yet but when I do I suspect I'll be throwing in some falafel "dumplings"!
Love the fact these are labelled #suitableforvegans though, keep em coming Tesco!
Oh also, wash and keep the pots to use as perfect sized planters! #reusereducerecycle 💚
