Lately it's been extremely difficult to maintain a work-life balance... but we still get outside every weekend rain or shine. Simply being outside away from the crowds helps me re-charge and get ready for another long busy week. What do you do to help keep yourself sane?
My photos have been a little too dark and cloudy lately, so here, my friends... is the Palouse, in all her glory.
...And the sun. And blue sky. And friendly, unassuming clouds.
I wish you all the best in facing your own Mondays. 🙄
7 years ago I asked @leaylauryn to be my girlfriend. Not sure where I took her on our first date but Today I took her out on a date for some potato corner fries! It felt like it was our first time dating again😬 Happy 7th year Anniversary @leaylauryn I love you😘😍

Wild animals are beautiful to admire from afar. Do not feed them when they're in their natural habitat. For our safety and theirs.

After some thought and consideration, I’ve decided that I’ll be taking my Lightroom presets off of my website. They’ll be up for the rest of the week if you haven’t checked them out, and for the next 24 hours they’re 25% off with check out code HI-FIVE (link in my bio).
More creative endeavors coming soon, stay posted🤞🏻

After a chilly night spent in the tent, the best way to wake up is with a quick walk around the lake. Cup of coffee to warm your hands and golden morning light to bring the world to life.

I’m missing the Faroe Islands today... the snowy vibes and cute little sheep ❄️🐑✨
we were supposed to be camping up Apgar tonight, but due to some technical- the ski boots I borrowed didn’t come close to fitting- difficulties, ended up making bison burgers and playing Cranium with the gang. camping would’ve been great, but honestly, I can camp whenever at home. some of my pals out here I might not see again for months, and there’s something important about realizing that. we yelled at each other, argued over rules, laughed a lot. team canada lost. I couldn’t draw pearl jam which might’ve cost us a maple leaf victory. getting home tomorrow, with a whole new ski touring set-up awaiting me, that means my hut season starts now. I’ll be the guy lugging in Catan to a backcountry oasis near you.

If you’ve got the blues, go check out some blue pools in the Oregon forest and you’re bound to cheer up.
