GUYS. I can’t even believe that teapot is mine. When I saw that home was rereleased, this is how I envisioned it all.. living happily ever after with my blue line. A huge thank you to @taelovestherae for the wonderful trade and awesome packaging! I’m over the moon. #raedunn#raedunnclay#tradeyourrae
Home. Somehow that word brings to mind so many thoughts. A place to live. Where my most precious people live. The place we dreamt of one day owning and calling ours. Being home with young children raising them. The last thought is the one i want to talk about this morning. It’s a blessing, a huge blessing to be able to be a stay at home mom. And I’ve realized I’ve not always been the most grateful for that as i should. The ins and outs of daily stay at home Mom life gets tiring and tedious. The endless crumbs, the endless laundry, you get the picture! It also can just get so very lonely. So many days spent with fussing babies and a whining child, or days with happy children but also still lonely on those days we sometimes go 10-12 hours without any adult interaction besides what can be found on social media, and that can often feel like a poor substitute for in person conversation. But I’ve been blessed recently with a few new friends and they truly help brighten life. And I’m thankful for a weekly moms group I get to be a part of. If you area stay at home mom and feeling lonely, I urge you to find others in the same boat to spend time with. It really helps! It helps to know our struggles of running a home and raising little people aren’t just unique to us, but that others to thru the same thing. And find some friends that have gone thru it and come out alive, I love hearing from moms of older children too. They usually will tell you that the time goes fast! I’m going to work on being more thankful for the honor I have of being HOME!

Spending some quiet time diving in to the catalog this morning! (By quiet, I mean the kids are being loud 2 rooms over and the TV is off 😝)
How did I forget to tell you guys this?! 🤦🏻♀️😑 So the photographer and his assistant who came for our @betterhomesandgardens shoot here at the house last week were the ones who shot Miz @joannagaines for her winter Magnolia Journal cover out in all that snow, and they shared a few behind the scenes moments from that experience with me! Check my IG stories this morning, and I’ll tell ya what they shared! 💕 (All this y’all of snow this week is giving me an idea for a feed creep, too...hinty hint hint. ❄️) Happy Humpiest of Days, my friends. 😉🐪
