Hello beautiful people!🙋 Welcome to day 1⃣ of #ReleaseandRecharge challenge. ☀
I'll be starting of with #LotusPose#Padmasana, frequently used asana for meditation and pranayama. When mastered, it allows us to hold the body completely steady for long periods of time. As the body and mind are connected, steadiness of the body brings steadiness of the mind, which is the first step to productive meditation.
Meditation is a life long practice and definitely the most challenging thing in my yoga practice; trying to calm down my monkey mind 🐒
It takes only even just few minutes a day but regular practice is necessary. "Meditation is like a seed. When you cultivate a seed with love, the more it blossoms. " 🌺
Today I'm meditating and letting go of all the negative thoughts, focusing on this moment, feeling positive and peaceful for the future and realizing that my happiness comes from inside; my inner state of mind.

Press your right thumb against your right nostril and inhale deeply through your left nostril. At the end of inhalation, close off the left nostril with the ring finger, then exhale through the right nostril. Continue with this pattern, inhaling through the right nostril, closing it off with the right thumb, and exhaling through the left nostril. Practice for at least 3 minutes. •

#day3 sometimes the simplest poses can be the most challenging. Bow your head down. Heart melts on the ground. Listen to your breath. Feel the whole Earth under you. A reminder of how small we are yet how powerful we can be. Let go of all thoughts that pull you back or forward in time and be here now. Even if it's only for a second. Be present. Practice it in your mat and take it to the world. Remember this feeling and try to be present during your day: washing dishes, walking your dog, in the subway,... Listen to your breath and at every exhale gently let go of the thoughts that distract you.
Be yourself. Be vulnerable - but protect yourself. Be authentic. The world has enough people living double lives and hiding from their own shadows. Be You. Exactly how your are. You then will attract everything your heart desires 🙏🏽♥️ #mindfulmovement#vulnerability

Gratitude. Taknemmelighed. Der er mange måder at praktisere taknemmelighed på/at være taknemmelig. Pranayama💙. Dyb taknemmelighed for pranayama - måder at trække vejret. Åndedrættet forbinder min bevidsthed med mit indre og det omkring mig. Giver nærvær. Naturen med dens planter og træer frigiver ilt så jeg og du kan trække vejret. Være i live. Sender en tak til Moder Jord for den energi du nærer til pranayama. Uden mit åndedræt ville jeg ikke være i stand til at sanse og mærke og være med mit liv i denne forunderlige verden. Big Kids, Little Kids and Kids of the heart join for a weekly Asana practice under the stars at Twine. No previous yoga experience is necessary for this class but we do encourage those who attend to bring a special little friend. Whether you are a Mum, a Dad, Aunty, Uncle, Grandma or Grandpa you are welcome to come along to this 45 min - 60 min class.⠀
Please note, these classes will be taught and lead by an experienced Yoga Teacher who has a working with children check and previous experience with children of all ages. We encourage children of the ages 3years - 12years attend plus the BIG KIDS (Adults).⠀

When the shift into The Age of Leo (10750 B.C - 8600 B.C) known and immanent to the people of the Age of Virgo, Age of Virgo reining from 13,000 B.C to 10,750 B.C was the end time of Gaia-Earth Mother honoring. The people of that era set about preparing to encode what they knew about embodied life and to codified systems of maintaining ‘relative’ high #consciousness until the upward swing again would bring humans into the light of increasing consciousness. Some of these systems are healing modalities that have been used for millennia such as #ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Some are only recently widely known and used: healing with crystals, shamanic practices, our energy anatomy, meditation, #pranayama, etc. Tarot is an excellent example of this type of stored information currently in use. All were encoded with the purpose of maintaining consciousness via access to wisdom and knowledge, to remember who we really are, despite the downward drag into ignorance that would eventually devolve into patriarchal times.
What if Women were Shamanic priestesses and could converse with the Serpent, and astronomers who knew The Fall was coming? What if The fruit was a symbol for a piece of Knowledge from the World Tree, available to Women because that was there province – to know?
All what #mysticism is: discovering the key that unlocks the doors that the collective mind has erected in fear, ignorance, and the belief in the need of protection. Mysticism is not a left-brain function. It is not something that can be proved, only experienced. If one doesn’t #resonate with an interpretation, unravel your own, but do not blindly follow religion in lieu of your independent thought and exploration. Instead follow your inner guidance and explore your own terrain.
