Our team got above "the wall" on St Helens as dawn was approaching. Such an absurd sunrise earlier this week I was tripping over my crampons trying to look back at it 😄 I finally told myself TURN AROUND and was worth it no doubt 🙌
Just me and my gang ✌
I checked a lot off of my to-do list this morning, including going to Koodo to figure out what to do about my phone situation. Turns out I have insurance on my phone I didn't even know I had! So a new phone is getting shipped to me within a day!
Overall, a pretty productive morning, but now we're looking forward to cuddling up, escaping from this miserable weather, and continuing to catch up on The Walking Dead 💀
Hi, @davidapalmer52 here with another post. This time from Biglow Canyon Wind Farm near Rufus, Oregon. We’ve all seen these #WindTurbines standing on distant ridge tops but they are really magnificent when you get close.
The road to the #WindFarm out of Rufus winds around the hillsides and you can’t see the turbines until you climb almost to the top of the ridge. After what seemed like an eternity, we came around a corner and the ridge above us opened up with the sight of many windmills against the deep, blue sky.
I retired from Oregon’s high-tech industry after a career spanning over three decades in the Silicon Forest. I have an affinity for machines. After I got over the WOW! of seeing these machines arrayed across the wheat fields, I set about capturing the magnitude and power of the scene. #CleanEnergy has its own beauty that complements the natural beauty of #Oregon. - Dave
Each week, will we feature several photos that we believe best represents the true beauty of Oregon. Don’t forget to tag Oregon Environmental Council on your next photo and use the hashtag #ItsYourOregon to be featured on our feed!
So many things to look forward to in 2018!
My husband is flying home from his deployment overseas as we speak, my new camera is also on its way to me, and a trip to Hawaii with my hubs only 5 weeks away! Hoping to stay creatively challenged this year and to continue to strive to be the best version of myself. What are your goals for 2018?

Constantly reminding myself this. “Some day I’ll be better.” Isn’t a good way to live right now. Instead tell yourself “TODAY I’ll be better.” Stop waiting to change when change can happen today! Have a great weekend! ❤️

Hello there weekend glad to have you back 😏 anyone have fun adventure plans this weekend?

As a kid I grew up camping and spending a fair amount of time outside. But I hated going on hikes. I’d beg, plead and cry from start to finish when the family would go. Having to use all my energy just to walk somewhere was not my idea of fun..... Fast forward years later and the majority of my weekends consist of hiking, rain or shine. I may of hated this as a kid, but I’m sure glad my parents made me hike all those years ago as today I enjoy it to the fullest. #lazykid 📷 @dub.zeller
I don't know what lies ahead, but it's sure to be an adventure!

Could not get any closer to this waterfall because it was absolutely raging and I was getting drenched! Thankfully my camera, phone and Fitbit all survived despite a thorough soaking. All the mist created a beautiful rainbow though. 🌈

An early morning spent chasing the sun which ended up with some rad fog instead 💭

The last few hours of our trip were spent driving along service roads, no destination in mind, getting a few glances of the view below through the lingering fog before we decided it was time to head back down in the dark
