My fluffy lil’ muse. My dog, aka Louie, is extremely photogenic, so I take advantage. He even makes sad puppy dog eyes on queue! Isn’t his pout so believable? Anyway, Louie, my golden retriever, intensely adores walks, steak bones, and exploring the beach with me ( :) ). Although an animal, I swear, Louie has one of the greatest spirits I’ve ever crossed paths with. My golden buddy evokes the absolute happiest of moods from humans, lightening every tense situation into one of pure joy. Louie, though mute, speaks the loudest and spreads one of the greatest messages to everyone he meets (and I’m not talking about his bark) 🐶❤️✨
Breaking up my feed full of buildings with my favorite guy. I’ve been toying around with some different Canon settings lately as a means to conquer my camera and produce the best photographs I’m capable of. I’ve always strived to create incredibly touching and emotionally-provoking photos, and I’m so glad you guys can follow me on my journey. More photos soon!

Santa Ynez Valley//Home on the range. One of my favorite features of the #santaynezvalley landscape are the iconic valley oak trees. Here, a lone oak stands in the foreground of a vast cattle ranch. Simple western pleasures.
Hooked in Wisconsin (10/10): Kyle Keding watches the Packers play in his home in Wisconsin Rapids. Keding accepted a plea deal in December for a reckless homicide charge connected to the overdose death of someone he was using heroin with. He awaits sentencing next month and could face years in prison.
Keding started using drugs and drinking in high school to cope with the trauma of having been sexually molested as a child. He became dependent on painkillers as an adult and tried heroin for the first time at 26.
Keding used heroin for five years until the overdose death. That night was the last time he used.

Pankhará, a Kayapó indian shows me her hands painted with a dye made with charcoal and genipap.
Body painting is key to Kayapo adornment. Black painted areas show social status, and red painted areas are for parts of the body considered as being in contact with the outside world.
