Truth #4: I love art and I always have ... and I'm not too bad at it. It's a skill I always forget I have because I've had it my whole life. It's not until I'm scribbling on a piece of paper and someone says "hey, that's pretty good" that I remember not everyone can do it.
Another awesome thing I figured out this week is that my Samsung S8 Note has a stylus pen and I've been doing some layered graphics over photos all day. It's really inspired me to try painting again, it was never really my strong point but I could see myself using the same steps on paper that I do on my phone.
For a long time art is the only treatment I had for anxiety, so it means a lot to me. It also got me through a lot of boring classes.

Backroll is starting to become nice & strict, which I’m very happy with. Now to make is consistent and avoid failures. I really love both the impossible aesthetic & feeling of the Straight Body Press, truly satisfying. Again, now to work on consistency. 🙏 •
