There have been a ton of stressors in my life in the last several months, but events in the last few weeks have really piled on hard. When I get this overwhelmed, I do a mental exercise with myself where I talk to myself in a way that I think my therapist would. I imagined myself telling her about everything that's going on right now, and after I mentioned one particular stressor, I imagined her saying "okay, is there anything you can do about that right now?" And a familiar feeling of calm washed over me as I realized that, no, there is nothing I can do about this right now.
So I decided to open my designated #mentalhealth#passionplanner and cover the To-Do Lists with washi tape and create two columns: one for things I can do something about right now, and one for things I can do nothing about right now. This seems so simple and like such common sense, but it's the little things like this that really help give you a push in the right direction. When I am overwhelmed and the noise won't let me have peace, I find that grounding myself in these simple truths and realities helps me so much. I feel more ready to cope with what's in front of me, one feasible goal at a time. #stress#anxiety#stressmanagment#pashfam
The leaves are still there, and the flowers, the ants and the rooks, the sea shells and the waves. The sounds she heard, the smells she smelled, the colours and the memories remain, “an incongruous catalogue, little corks that mark a sunken net.” ~ @cerealmag
Sipping on some coffee and reflecting back to this time last year! Who else likes to reflect back on previous years in their passion planners?

Finally got my new Passion Planner. I find I like writing things down more than using electronics. Thanks @djdoesmidlife for the idea and inspiration. Got my pens and sticky notes.😁 #passionplanner

My first ever @passionplanner from two years ago! This was an awesome little memory in my Timehop today. My planning style has changed a lot for sure, but this tool has been the most amazing thing for me to achieve my goals. One of the things you’ll see in this pic is my GMAT study schedule. I truly could not have studied as much as I did, nailed the GMAT, and applied to business school while in my senior year of college without my passion planner. Seeing this today made me confident in my abilities and reaffirmed my love for a tool that has aided in my successes for so long. 🤩✨
Someone once told me that failing to plan was planning to fail. Naturally, I took it to heart and became obsessed with all things planner-related. Not pictured: my excitement when finding these page flags. 😆
“The key is to keep company only with people who uplift you.”👌🏼 dang... this is powerful and a little hard to swallow at times.. because sometimes those you’ve known the longest are the same ones that don’t support you at all.. how ironic is that? 😑
My passion planner is continuously making me think and reevaluate.👌🏼 #uplift#encourage#support#passionplanner#relationship
It’s been a rough week for my family battling sickness and fatigue. But the kicker was watching my youngest daughter have a seizure. 😰😰
However today we got to spend the day together not at any fancy resort and spa like we were planning but just the local park. My oldest daughter has been struggling with what had happened to her sister and is experiencing flashbacks and the fear of another terrifying episode... but it’s my job as mom to take that worry away and invite in joy! Watching them today was different... the love ❤️ and happiness to have each other was so apparent and I’m proud of how strong my kids are and how we’ve pulled together as a family to continue to feel blessed and lucky! 💕💕🙌🏻🙌🏻

Today I taught myself how to do brush lettering with the @panduroofficial ‘How to do brush lettering’ book and my first actual project was making a savings tracker in my @passionplanner. 💕📖🖌
This is a beautiful and practical way to visualize how much you have already saved and how much you still got ahead of you. 💰I chose €10 as the smallest amount because I feel like it’s more motivating, since you can color it in more often than if you would make it €100. 💶 I don’t know exactly where our next, big trip will take us which is why I wrote several of my dream destinations ☺️🏞 What are you saving up for?
4 months ago I decided to give up all of the excuses I was making and take that leap of faith. Sure I was skeptical, but I was running out of reasons WHY I wasn't willing to do this for ME! And that's it people...THIS IS FOR YOU! I'm just a girl that went for it and let me tell you guys...that leap DID NOT disappoint. There's ONE question that I am asked EVERY single day; "is PLEXUS expensive?" This is how I break it down: 🚨COST PER DAY🚨
BONUS: the opportunity for financial freedom💰 💖Now I'll let YOU decide💖

Had one of the worst days yesterday so far as a mama of 2. My toddler was in front of the tv all day, I was on my phone way too much doing nothing at all, Sean didn’t nap so bedtime was a nightmare and Spencer just so happened to be fussy during that time out of the blue too. I finally got a moment to breathe and decided I need to get my shit together. Whipped out my Passion Planner and wrote out some daily and weekly goals, even if they are small ones like “scrub poop out of sleep sack”, (this is actually in there) 🙈😂 I’ve already been 10x more productive today than i was all day yesterday. Someday, I hope not too far out, I’ll feel like I’m crushing it being a mom again and can get to work on my side love of photography and what Coyote Gray will become. But I’m not going to get there sitting on my ass, looking at my phone all day. So peace out for now. ✌🏻🖤

Our #WordoftheWeek is Cavoli Riscaldati, #Italian for the result of attempting to revive an unworkable relationship. Literally translates to "reheated cabbage." The only relationship you can really depend on is the one with your pizza 🍕😏

The Statue of Liberty was a gift to the US from France for the centennial anniversary of our independence. She represents Libertas, the Roman goddess of liberty, with broken chains around her feet. Americans made her pedestal, and the French made the statue before she traveled across the Atlantic and became an icon of freedom for immigrants coming from overseas. The base of the statue aptly reads "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore." 🗽 #Throwback#TravelTuesday
