Today we traded in our van for this bad boy!
Cat riding at Red Mountain, yeeeeeeeeew 🤙🏻
...Imagine converting one of these into a camper!
„Dexter schau mal, was für ein schöner Sonnenuntergang!“ Manchmal wünschte ich Dexter könnte reden. Wir hätten Gesprächsthemen wie: Bälle, Kühlschrankinhalt, Schlafpositionen, Wurftechniken, Pupsarten, Gelber Schnee, andere Hunde usw. oder wir würden einfach nur in die warme Sonne starren und genießen anstatt zu reden.
Can I please have my morning coffee like this everyday?!
This was definitely part of our “highlight reel,” as they say about #socialmedia posts. What you don’t see is that we ran out of propane last night, so it was 35 degrees inside the van when we woke up.
Luckily, we still had battery power so our electric blanket was running strong, but there was definitely a pep talk to get out of bed!

When your dog does something hilarious but doesn't know it.
For everyone who wants to ask, Mojo LOVES van life. The country is her favorite, but when we're in the city we always make sure to get her out & active. We couldn't imagine doing #vanlife without this amazing creature. Do you have a #vandog?

Just heard the word from @mammothmountainsnowman, looks like the Sierras should get some real snow in March! Don't forget we rent personal ski-lodges on wheels.

4 days, 39 miles! Havasu was a blast. Catching up on some of my favorite photos from the backpacking trip 🙌🏼
Wading through the waves waiting for a break to come through. Fell in the lake taking pictures that day, got a taste of how cold it truest was.

This beautifully renovated caravan is available for hire on Camplify!
Here's a fantastic review from their last hire: "We had a fantastic week staying in the gorgeous 'Sunny'. Everything was spot on!...to being fully set up when we arrived, to all the creature comforts of home with games for the kids, coffee machine, wine glasses, bath towels, outdoor dining setting. It was the little things that made our stay really special! Kylie was wonderful to deal with and nothing was too much trouble! Would definitely recommend staying in Sunny! It was the highlight of our holiday!"
Check out @honey.iboughtacaravan to hire it for yourself!

Hoping for another powder day soon! This was from a couple days ago when Aaron drug me into a back bowl! To anyone who says it's too late to learn to ski/snowboard, it's not! This chick grew up sledding, nothing else and literally thought I'd never learn. But, with a lot of patience, bruises and hard work it's possible! So let this be your inspiration to learn something you never thought possible, no matter what it is!

Thankful for good friends who stick with us through grumpy times, stinky times (vanlife is tight quarters y'all) and most importantly allllll the stressful times. .
For everyone asking, Trinity is safely in the hands of a local mechanico, but we won't be hitting the road just yet. More behind the scenes in our upcoming vlogs but until then... EPISODE 2 OF HELLO MEXICO is 🆙 and 🔗in bio.

Fun little clip by @amber__fenton when she rented out the VW for a video project. This is just a snippet from her full length video. Nice work Nug!

Small kitchen = big mess! Steph is currently making @minimalistbaker raw vegan brownies with the beautiful dates we picked from the palm trees here in Morocco 🌴🇲🇦 (we'd like to say we will share the finished product on our ig stories tomorrow but we will have 100% eaten them all!) #slownsteadylivin
Community is everything!
Found these fine folks through a Bassnectar Facebook page and met up with them right as I finished paying the mechanic. We hopped on the road and landed in some BLM land on a lake for a night of tostadas, beer and fishing.
It’s great meeting positive, like minded people on the road. However, most of my new friends in Arizona have been retirees! The chance to meet up with a couple my own age was much needed, and helped me reaffirm my decision to live this lifestyle.
Cat and Tyler quit their jobs as a Marketing Director and Teacher in order to live simpler and see more. These days they work seasonally as property managers and they couldn’t be happier!
If you like food, dogs and views, give @vanlifebites a follow!

I love our tiny little kitchen. Being 4 months on the road everything proves to be functional and efficient to us. Of course we sometimes get frustrated because of the little space and all the clearing back and forth. But at the same time everything is within reach. I guess the most important discipline is to stay organized and stick to one system of stowage. #vanlifers#vanlove#vanagon
Our lives are filled with so much wonder if we can break ourselves out of our routine enough to recognize it. -
One of the greatest gifts we have realized from this time of travel is the gift of being still and enjoying it. We knew that our lives were too busy before, but it has taken us a while to realize that we were addicted to productivity. We, like so many people in our culture, have rooted our identity in what we do, or what we produce, or how much we accomplish. This time of detox from productivity has helped us to start to separate our identity from what we accomplish and root it more in who we truly are, what we are allowing to inhabit our minds, and how we interact with other people. It’s a slow process, and we are taking baby steps, but even baby steps feel good.
Every night in Key West, everyone gathers on Duval St and parades down to the dock to watch the sunset. It makes me giddy, this celebration of nature and good times. People we’re laughing, drinking, people watching. We passed a guy all tatted up and playing some crazy drums. Another man was swallowing a sword. As the sun set, we strolled over to a bar where Cuban music was playing live. I asked the bartender for the best Key West drink and he gave me some heavenly, fruity concoction. We danced in the street and giggled. It was the perfect blend of small beach town, Austin & New Orleans.
When people ask us why we decided to sell everything and move into a small trailer, this, that night, that experience is why.
For the past two years we’ve worked in numerous cities, coffee shops, libraries, parking lots, National Parks, forests, deserts, roadside pull-outs, farms, river banks, hostels, countries...
This photo may seem dreamy, but our life as digital nomads isn’t all sunshine and sandals. We may have traded our desk chairs for hammocks, but finding a work-life balance is always a challenge.
The constant process of change has become our teacher. We’ve allowed ourselves to develop nomadic routines and rules which have helped ground us. We follow and adjust as needed.
Change in our environment has fueled our work and sparked our creativity. We’re currently working on some exciting stuff. We’ll be sharing with you guys soon. #stoked
Who else had a campfire this weekend?!🔥 Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you have to be stuck indoors!
We finally had the opportunity to explore Yosemite National Park, and we can see why this park stands out amongst the other NPs! Some of the trails were closed for the winter but we’re still sore from all the hiking and biking we got in.
Also on a side note, if you watched the video with sound on you might have heard one of our campsite neighbors’ generator over the crackling fire. How annoying is that sound?! Another major reason to choose SOLAR. #noisepollution
When I was a kid at summer camp, the counselors used to end every breakfast roundup by yelling, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life!" Don't think I got it at the time but yknow, that's a pretty solid message to wake up to ✌️. -WV

Hello beautiful beings!
I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself since many of us are newfound friends thanks to this lovely little app.
My name is Noël.
I have 2 rescue pups, named Lhotse and Fin, and one husband, named Jonnie.
Jonnie used to be a professional musician, and me – I was a fashion designer.
Back then, we wanted to “have it all”
chasing a vision of what it meant to be wealthy - the dreams they sell us in magazines, and on TV.
The idea that the next promotion, the next accolade, the next product consumed
just might get us one step closer to being that person we were meant to be.
But then one day, we called it all into question.
We picked up that canned dream - flipped it around, shook it hard,
and realized it was completely hollow.
So we chucked it over our shoulders,
spun around on our heels,
and headed in the opposite direction.
These days, Jonnie manages a shelter for adults and families and I work at a nonprofit which operates 3 shelters for youth and teens in the Bay Area.
And though we don’t earn the income we used to, we consider ourselves richer than ever.
You see, these days, we measure our success in strangers-turned-friends, in sunsets stared at, in mountain peaks and doggy kisses.
We celebrate luxuries like warm blankets and warm showers, tacos and doggy treats.
We consider ourselves prosperous because we have people to reach out to, and because we’re there to reach back when we’re called upon.
And though I know there are many different values by which to measure success,
I’m here to encourage you that you really CAN “have it all”
Just as long as you don’t let anyone else define
what “it all” looks like
👆🏼👆🏼is vanlife!! Whether you’re a weekend warrior, or a full-timer, @thevanlifeapp will help you have the most epic AdVANtures.
