My Valentine's day roses had sprouts. I've been keeping them going so far. I'm hoping I can get them to bloom 😍 they say it takes about 6 months to bloom after they've been planted and start sprouting 🤞🏼😁 #plantmom#ilovetogrowthings#natureisamazing
A couple of days ago we went and visited the Cape Fur Seal colony at Hout Bay in Cape Town! Interestingly, female seals are able to delay fertilization for up to three months to make sure that the pups are born right at the beginning of summer. Seal pups are very vulnerable in the beginning as they can’t swim for the first 3-4 months of their lives. One reason for that is that they are born without blubber (subcutaneous fat tissue as isolation against the cold water). It can happen that the seals are so well isolated against the cold that they can overheat. So whenever you see a seal waving at you - it’s not to say hello, but to cool down the blood via evaporation! @firstname.lastname@example.org#southafricanwildlife#natureisamazing#wildlifeaddict#evolution#nikon#thatboatwasrockinglikecrazy

5 Ways to Use Aloe Vera
This list could have realistically been 50-100 different uses but ain’t nobody got time for that ✋🏻
This powerful plant has SO MANY natural healing properties, and can be used for just about anything on your body.
I grow an Aloe Vera plant (incredibly easy) and harvest the gel to use as a facial moisturizer, spot treatment, even brow gel and primer! I also use Aloe to heal eczema spots when they pop up on my legs in the winter.
Now, what will you try using Aloe Vera for?
