Boredom. A Saturday afternoon spent bored. Add to that, we’re coming up on our last full week of February and we’ve had (count ‘em) zero bigs plans for our weekends. När du står på både fötter är det lätt....men när du bestämmer dig för att utmana balansen o förflytta dig långsamt på en fot, blir det genast svårare ;)....här utforskar jag övergångar mellan olika steg av stående ensidiga höftledsrotationer. Försöker också utmana lite extra genom att lägga till rörelser i överkroppen och växlar mellan en rund bröstrygg där skulderbladen går isär och motsatt tillstånd där skulderbladen närmar sig varandra....kom ihåg att för varje kort perfekt Instagram-filmsnutt du ser går det hundratals försök som detta :) Det är ju det som är Yoga- praktiken och utforskandet om du frågar mig...

Think that for each perfect short video in Instagram goes an infinite number of imperfect transitions ;) but there is no perfection in yoga even if some often prefer to publish perfect videos and fancy poses.
Actually this is YOGA- a continuous practise that empowers us day by day.
The energy of flow is such a magical thing. Allowing yourself to go with it when at times it feels so fast there is little time to adjust to life’s changes or when it feels like we are standing in the same spot for too long. This was part of my morning practice today and the video is double the speed of the real thing. I was feeling my being move at a cellular level and everything else fell away. These are the moments I treasure when I’m on my mat, in this space, connecting to the energy that is life. Sometimes it feels so joyful and light and sometimes it feels so challenging and weighted, but to feel one deeply means we can feel the other deeply also. It's the work for which all other work is but preparation, unconditional love. You can't bring people into territory you haven't gone. Respect the journey. Do the work. Keep shifting your vibration. Then suddenly all those magical tools, they come to life...and they'll teach you their secrets. They require your commitment. It’s my first day off in 2 weeks and I was thinking about all of the intensely pleasurable things I could indulge in today. ✨
Yoga, delicious food, dance, foot massage, hugs, any kind of massage actually, sweet treats, animals especially babies, dressing up, dressing down, films, moving slowly, breathing deeply, hot baths, being naked, candlelight, golden lattes, being cozy, winking, smiles, scooter rides, Bombay Smash, writing, sunsets, friends, reading, open fire, nature, old trees, flowers, far away places, adventure, music, walking, a perfect cup of tea.
What are your favourite pleasures?
Connecting with water element. Letting the weight of the body to be fluid and sink down. To create soft, fluid tiger paws. To relax. To trust. This way of practicing has been for me quite a path. My tendency is to contract the body here and there, especially on the neck and between the shoulder blades. To over extend the joints and to drop my body weight into them. So to come back home, to feel inside, to let go of thinking, effort, fears, to create space from inside through the breathing and to let go again and again has been and will be an eternal journey that is just becoming gentler and subtler as time passes by. It is not a straight road, but rather a hidden path in a forest overgrown by vegetation, that is full of treasures to be found for anyone who is willing to listen carefully, to sense with patience.
