We’ve been programmed to look for the easy way out, or the fastest way to do things. All the technology that’s been created to make our lives easier is amazing and helps us be more efficient... but, it’s also making us lazy and causing us to grow too comfortable with things coming to us super easily. If something seems difficult, we tend to shy away from it.... or we lose our shit because we aren’t mentally and emotionally prepared to deal with it. Shift that focus. Look for things that challenge you every day... don’t resist some healthy struggle!
I’ve noticed that when I feel anxious, it’s because I don’t feel like I’m challenging myself. I still lose my shit and get overwhelmed sometimes, but I also keep working on improving myself & what I’m capable of handling. Being complacent with where you are (no matter if it’s good or bad) will leave you no better tomorrow than you were today.... and what kind of a life is that? We’re given this amazing opportunity to grow and develop ourselves in small ways every day... to become the best version of ourselves and the person we truly want to be... and to take that for granted and be content doing the same things and stuck in the same ruts is cheating yourself and your contribution to the universe 🌎✨👑

Today I'm thinking of a friend and sending her and her family positive vibes ✌🏻 and tons of love. 💕
Life can be scary but WE don't have to do it alone. .
Lately, I feel like the universe 💫 is sending me constant reminders that I'm not alone. I feel like I'm only as strong 💪🏼 as the ones around me and their strength is what is keeping me going. 🙌🏻 I can only hope to inspire them to do the same. 💕
We may stumble. .
We may fall.
We have the choice to rise above. .
Rise above fear, hate and violence. Rise above challenges, detours and road blocks. 🚧 We CAN do hard things when we have the support of others.
If you're going through a tough time, reach out to someone. There is good in the world. There are people who want to help. You will get through. You will rise above but sometimes you may need a little help ... and that, my friends, is more than okay. 👌🏻 .
Over and over again, people come to me who want my help, but then, last minute disappear & discount my advice when L I F E gets in the way
But here’s the thing. LIFE is happening ALWAYS -it’s this THING we’ve been blessed to live!
When life happens, when tragedy strikes, when depression/anxiety hits, that’s when you need self-love & self-care THE MOST.
That’s when you need to press play. That’s when you need to sit down & breathe. That’s when you need to up your nutrition game.
It’s not when you give up... it’s when you KEEP GOING & KEEP MOVING forward.
Because life is ALWAYS going to happen. DONT let it be your excuse not to LIVE IT the healthiest, happiest, most abundant way you can.

Heeeeyy!! So here are a few clips of a few exercises that I done last night. I wasn’t able to do anything on Friday because my son wasn’t feeling well ☹️ he’s doing better now thank goodness!.... But I did 4 sets of 12 repetitions for each exercise. I’m REALLY trying to gain weight and build muscle mass and I found out that eccentric movements (slow and controlled going down and shooting up) will help with strength, building muscle mass and even flexibility!... oh! And honestly speaking, that dumbbell in the first exercise was pretty heavy lol! You ask me how I keep going no matter how big a wave slaps me in the face; just by moving forward step by step, one step at a time even when some of those steps included self doubt and insecurity, I never stopped.
