Last night I sat in circle with beautiful women, learning, sharing and connecting all things masculine and feminine energies.
It was just what I needed this week. I always leave circles so full, and wondering why I don’t make more time for them. So much more of this 2018 please. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We always think we have to do crazy number of crunches or planks to get strong and centred but slow, mindful, CONSISTENT movements will get you results - PROMISE.
Two of my favourites for anyone, but especially post partum mamas or mamas who feel like they never focused and strengthens their deep core (seriously SO important for every other exercise and for, um, LIFE) .
Plus those 6 pack muscles don’t actually give you a strong core - might look good but we’re all about functional movement and longevity 🙌☺️
1. Bridge lifts//
Great starting movement for strength and flexibility
You want feet fully grounded and shoulders resting on earth. Slight pelvic tuck to lengthen spine and have it resting on mat. We move with the breathe in and out, with the Option to engage the pelvic floor for each rep or engage and release with the breath.
Keep those pesky knees stacked over ankles (they will want to go out)
10 lifts x 3 rounds and 10 pulses at the end of the round. .
2. Core leg kicks
Kicks is kinda wrong as we do they SLOW + CONTROLLED.
You want to feel your deep core engaged and you can feel a tightening in between your hip bones when it’s switched on (where my hands are touching in the 4th picture)
You then slowly alternate legs straight to earth.
Less / lower only as far as you can go keeping core engaged (pain in lower back = core switched off )
More / leg the leg hover close but don’t touch the floor.
10 on each side x 3 rounds .
Do these three every day for a week and notice better engagement ! Promise
