Like a spring...
Over the last few sessions I've changed how I've done box jumps to force me to be more explosive instead of it being a more dynamic mobility exercise. Landing in a straight legged position means you have to generate a lot more power off the ground to get your feet up higher enough otherwise yo fall on yo face and scrap yo shins. Simple. Treat them as two different kinds jumps.
