So Recklessly Exposed
December and January, gone.
Tulips coming up. It's time to watch how trees stagger in the wind and roses never rest.
Wisteria and Jasmine twist on themselves. Violet kneels to Hyacinth, who bows.
Narcissus winks, wondering what will the lightheaded Willow say
of such slow dancing by Cypress.
Painters come outdoors with brushes. I love their hands.
The birds sing suddenly and all at once. The soul says "Ya Hu", quietly.
A dove calls, Where, ku?
Soul, you will find it.
Now the roses show their breasts. No one hides when the Friend arrives.
The Rose speaks openly to the Nightingale.
Notice how the Green Lily has several tongues but still keeps her secret.
Now the Nightingale sings this love that is so recklessly exposed, like you.

I'm a big fan of this card. I'm a big fan of changing my mind and almost famous for it. What's wrong with that? Sorry, I've changed my mind. Why can't it be that simple to explain. Instead we go through a huge list of lies or reasons to say to someone why we can't follow through with what we said. Why isn't, hey I've changed my mind, catch you later, Accepted? This goes for huge plans to, it's OKAY to change your mind. People become shocked and often cannot fathom how one can just drastically change their minds.
Hey shit sorry I don't want to marry you. I changed my mind... Well better now than 10 wasted years later right?
Hey I know I've planned to come to your house for Christmas since July and everyone is SO excited but I've changed my mind, I'm not coming, Sorry.
Last week you were going to move to Europe, now your moving to British Columbia, what's wrong with You?? Nothing. I've changed my mind.
People who are afraid, judge. People who have fear often think there's something wrong with others. Family is most often the ones to instill the worry, release that with love.
If you've made the wrong choice and regret it, learning curve, no need to beat yourself up.
Change your mind. If you're wrong, lesson learnt and move on. Don't complicate your life, there are plenty of people around you that will do that for you.
Today didn’t go to plan. Went in with the intention of working up to 180kg for 3s. First working set attempt at 175kg I failed my second rep 😳 been a while since that happened. I was duly ribbed by the rest of the @westridingpowerlifters lot for it. I backed of to 170kg to get my bearings and then hit 3 sets at 175kg which are shown. I also managed to fail a back off set at 160kg due to catching the safety bars and then failed a GHR rep. One of those days. Comedy of errors.
The squat fail I’m putting down to both a technical error but also fatigue. I’m really feeling my lower back after my banded deadlifts on Friday. Didn’t expect it to affect things this much. Going to nip it in the bud and lose the band for my heavy deadlift sets from now on but use it on my speed work. Hopefully should still get the benefits and technical improvements without sacrificing recovery.
My squat might be worth backing off on for a week or so too. I seem to be getting very twisted in my setup. Speed isn’t quite there yet either but it’s still early days in the program so getting all the crap out of the way early hopefully! It was worth having a bad day for the lessons learned from it.
I want to explain how we have to change as musicians when we have a role in orchestra: we have to be focused not in our playing but in what surround us, we won't get srenght by playing louder individually but by joining forces together with all the section. I personally hardly look at the score because my eyes are always busy looking the conductor, the concertmaster, the bows of the strings...eye contact is crucial. Our sound has to change also, we are not anymore playing alone or with piano, so, we have to find a sound that blends well with the whole wind section and keep our personal sound for when we have a solo. There we can show the orchestra and public how we play. And I think is beautiful ❤ Video: GIOrquestra, Beethoven 5th Symphony.
