The squat is the perfect analogy for life. It’s about standing back up after something heavy brings you down. Whatever it is that weighs heavily on your shoulders, you, and only you have the power to change your attitude❤️
Holiday weekend and an extra day off work for me today. All I wanted to do was fill my day with productivity. Needless to say, everything that could go wrong absolutely did 😜 I had a plan walking into the gym and even there I was thrown off by how busy it was and just a bummed attitude I was carrying with me from earlier.
I recognized how I was feeling. I recognized I had the power to change it.
I found a corner. I improvised. I put my headphones on. I dropped the attitude and I had a killer leg day. The end.
Next time I might stretch more 🤦🏼♀️ Ugly buuuut idc because my hips are usually so bad I haven’t squatted in months and I was pretty happy getting a little weight on the bar 💁🏼♀️
Triples at 240. Felt good..need to be more conscious of my knees and shifting to my left hip, but that’s nothing new. Overall happy with the speed and feel of the weight. Keep riding the 🌊 🌊🌊 #barbellbullies
And Another Monday is Here! 💕
Always starting the week with our Favorite exercises, to help set the tone for the week. .
Making sure to really feel the stretch at the Eccentric and squeezing at the Concentric. Concentrating on mind muscle connection. #fittips

We had the pleasure of building this table and finishing these handsome chairs for the parents of a good friend. It’s a small world and I like it that way.
