Sometimes you have to get real with yourself and remind yourself you are capable of hard stuff!
Today I had to do that to myself! This is my I am tough face!
I still get anxious when I have a list of things to do a mile long. I get overwhelmed when plans have to change, especially when they include more work for me.
Today's to do list included my normal things plus spending the morning at church with my boys, then heading to conferences at the school, then a pediatrician appointment that included shots for Nolan, and swim class for Parker. And of course the normal things like school drop off and pick up, being an awesome coach, and still taking care of the house.
See that may not seem like a lot, but Chris had plans to stay home today when all this was scheduled, but life happened and he had to go into work.
So I felt super anxious tackling this to do list and errands all on my own. Plus I had Nolan and Elijah tagging along all day through it all and let's just be real... 2 and 5 year old boys aren't the best to bring to all of these occasions.
So today I woke and knew I had to put my game face on. I had to do all of these things, and I had to do them with patience, presents, and grace.
Just a couple of years back before I became healthy my anxiety would have had me panicked and cancelling the doctors appointment and asking that the conference could be changed.
