🛀 CaPs In ThE BaTh 🛀
If there is one thing I’ve learned from @busytoddler its that bath time doesn’t have to wait 🕠until bath time🛀. You can make it bath time anytime of the day!
Are you stuck for an activity after lunch? Give them a bath. Snowday❄️? Give them a bath! -30 below Celsius ☃️ outside and you’re 9 month pregnant with twins? Yup you guessed it, she got a bath.
The key to a non-bath time bath time is to make it more about play than actually bathing (yes by all means get that done too but let them play for longer than they normally would at bath time). Today I dumped a bunch of caps in the bath with her, added some colourful bowls and viola! We ate up 45 minutes!

Mama Mia Pizzeria 🍕 We had so much fun making rainbow pizza this week! -
My kids are way more likely to eat their food when they help me cook. Plus, adding lots of color makes it WAY more interesting for them.
Plus, I share my three kid meal hacks that save time and help motivate picky eaters in an article I wrote. ❤️ Tap the link in my profile to check it out and snag the printable recipe to try it with your little ones.
Holler at me if you try it! I’d love to know.
What do you like to cook with kids? 🤔
Our #invitationtoplay this morning was a quick and easy one before we head out!
I had a pair of chopsticks, with the ends attached and a pair of tongs. Popped them on the floor next to a container of pom poms and an empty container. I directed L to the activity and sat back and watched.
He tried hard to use both tools to transfer the pom poms from one container to the other, and back again! He used his hands too. I had to watch him though... He did sneak a couple in his mouth! Cheeky toddler!! He had never used tongs or chopsticks before so he spent most of the time curiously exploring the tools! It was very sweet watching the wonder in his eyes.
What are you planning to escape this Melbourne heat? Perhaps try this activity with your little ones! 🤓🌞
E X P L O R E • Sensory activities allow our children to exploring the world 🌎 around them through their sensors. These types of activities are fantastic at encouraging our kids to play, explore & be inquisitive 👩🏼🏫 Here is a photo of our girls loving the pasta pool. There was a whole lot of squishing, squashing and taste testing that day 🙊
Hot days stuck at home with the air conditioner call for urgent measures! 🚨 My Creative Box to the rescue! Thanks for sharing @anna.mac_ ❤️😘

🇺🇸SHAPES & LABYRINTHS
Check out this easy but great activity sets for your kid. This is some self-made tasks. All about learning shapes and labyrinths. So, what do we have:
1.Sun. You draw several yellow circles. One circle you turn into the Sun, as an example. The rest will be your kids task.
2. Line of houses with Windows of different shapes (you draw it). You cut out these shapes from different coloured paper and your kid should sort them and glue each to the right windows.
3. Spiders. You draw/glue ovals and stick to one of them some google eyes (can be also 8 like the real spider has). And draw legs(8). Your kid should do the same to all other ovals.
4. Cars. As Emilias loves cars, I made some for him, but without wheels. The task for him is to add wheels.
5. 2 Labyrinths. You can do it my way or use any other variations. I had more or less easy ones and on the first one I glued 'E' to one exit and 'M' to another one. (As we learn letters, it meant E-Emilias has to find M-Mama). The second labyrinth was about helping little bug find his flower😀🌼🐞 Emilias loved doing all the tasks and was really excited! Absolutely worth it!👍 🇷🇺 ФИГУРЫ И ЛАБИРИНТЫ
Anyone else thinking about the next big occasion, aka Valentine's Day? 😍I haven't yet met a child who doesn't love this celery heart stamping. Really, what screams love more than a card full of celery heart stamps 😉 It's so cute! And even the littlest ones can partake by using the other end of the celery to paint with. Super simple to set up too 👍🏻
It's Kid Inventors' Day! To celebrate I thought I'd share some art ideas for you to try, which are a bit inventive. If you want to encourage the inventor inside your child check out my Kid Inventors' Day blog post, which is packed full of ideas and links to useful resources. Link in bio.
You loved how I turned #ferrerorocher box into mess-free painting box for Max in my recent post. So I want to show you another way to use an empty chocolate box. This time I've made a sand art box for Alex to draw with a steel ball and a magnet. Two layers of coloured sand and a bit of glitter made the process a bit more exciting for him. But I am looking forward to using it as a relaxing Zen Garden tonight (: #TheDadLab#fatherhood#dadlife

🆎ABC MATCH🆎 It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's a super easy alphabet activity that Kate is OBSESSED with ‼️And who wouldn't be? Alphabet magnets + Play dough = be still my activities heart, right 🎉 Super easy set up - I just rolled out some play dough, stamped her alphabet magnets into it (just hard enough to leave the outline), and put them back in the container for her sort through 👀She LOVED working through this, pushing the magnets into the play dough and I loved the amount of time I had without answering 58 "but, why..." questions 😂 I know you feel me 😂 Anyways, it's a great, easy alphabet activity if you have a kiddo into those - if you're looking for more ABC ideas 👆🏻 Check out the link in my profile to 50+ EASY ALPHABET ACTIVITIES 📚 So many good ones 😘😘

Molekül tower😜 farklı mimariye sahip bu yapıtın yaratıcısı Bartu☺️ (bir gün suda beklettiğimiz nohut ve diş kürdanı, sonrası tamamen yaratıcılık😉)
PIN MY BODY • (Turn up the volume to watch!) This game is SUPER FUN and I urge all of you to try! Instead of just labelling the parts of the body with post its - throw in the blindfold! I began first and D had to give me instructions to position the post its. It was so funny cos he kept going “here, here” and I went “where where I can’t see!” 😂 After a while he finally got it that he needed to GIVE proper directions like “up a little, to the right”. We reversed the roles and he got to practise LISTENING to instructions. It can get quite funny at times when he intentionally rolled away from the cardboard. As I edited this video I cannot stop laughing at some parts cos it was my first time seeing his actions since I was blindfolded during the activity. So yes, it was all fun and laughter but he sure knows his body parts well #BODYolpn
What you need: cardboard, post its, blindfold
What they learn: science, giving instructions, listening skills, directional words (I sped up some parts of the video so it might sound a little funny 😚)
