At least the snow and ice is gone. Now just need to find the fish. Tried the past three days with no luck.... even the really experienced guys I was with yesterday didn't get a bite either. Rain tomorrow so will try again Wednesday 😀
I don’t know about you but today I jumped out of bed at 6 am (ok maybe my alarm was too loud and it scared me out if bed), ready to tackle the day.
With a great mindset, I wandered down the stairs while the rest of my family was sound asleep. I ate my pre-workout meal in silence. Wandered back up stairs to get ready to start my workout at 6:30.
I couldn’t believe how much easier some of the moves were compared to when I started last week! I went from 0/30 tricep push-ups from my toes (I was on my knees) last week, to 12/30 this week from my toes (the rest from knees)! Total progress! That’s almost half from my toes in a week!! The ladies in our accountability group are seeing differences already too! It’s only been a week!
Gave it my all....and you should too!!
Week one complete! Yes, not going to lie wrapping your head around something new is NOT easy. It’s. It going to be perfect. You have good days and bad days. I had all of that this week! It’s week one it’s to be expected!
To make it through the first week, takes commitment. It takes support (which we have a fantastic accountability group for! Love our ladies in there!). It takes some self convincing and a lot of self talk at times!
In the end, week one was a success because I made it through! In the end I’m proud of my effort and what I learned about myself this week!
So be proud, every step of the way!
